Best falafel I've ever had - Edit
Cute place with a few vegan options, including a delicious falafel plate. My only complaint is that there weren't more of them on my plate. I was seriously considering a second order! The fresh papaya juice is also highly recommended.

Great option - Edit
Was nice to see a restaurant on Caye Cauker with a clearly labeled vegan dish and staff who understand what vegan means. We loved the vegan platter: hummus, baba ganoush, falafelx pita bread: everything was great!

Delicious Middle Eastern food! - Edit
Ana has just reopened in a new location.
Read moreI shared an order of tabouleh, baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves and olives with my partner. I also had the falafel plate, which came with hummus, pita and tabouleh.
All very flavourful and fresh. Ana also offers a vegan plate with all of the above in a manageable size for someone dining on their own.
Check Google Maps for new location - no longer at The Split.

Bestes orientalisches Essen - Edit

A good selection of Middle Eastern vegan options - Edit
This small restaurant offers falafel, hummus, babaganoush, tabouli, grape leaves, pita bread, and salad options. I had a satisfying falafel plate (US$10), which came with 7 or 8 falafel balls, a good helping of hummus, some toasted pita, and a salad.

Two Thumbs Up - Edit
Aladdin's has the best vegan food on the island. I got the vegetarian plate which had the most delicious lemony babagagnoush and hummus and amazing falafel - all made fresh. The grape leaves had curried rice which was unique and excellent. My husband and I were both very impressed. A little pricey compared to other restaurants here ($13 USD for the veg plate, $8.50 for a falafel sandwich) but very much worth it for fresh, healthy, and awesome vegan food. Near the Split. Highly recommend.

Great vegan options and a relief after eating pretty bad "burritos" on the island. The vegetarian platter and falafel was amazing. Friendly owner and family, Would definitely come back.

great veggie options - Edit
I went here with a group of friends with varying diets. For veggies - the dips, especially babaganoush, were delicious and came with nice pitta chips. Also falafel wraps (bit too much parsley for me but still yum). Plenty of meat and fish options for others.
