Good food, slightly weird environment - Edit
It's good that the menu says they can do vegan and gluten free options and to ask, but it would be so much better if they just marked dishes as being available as a vegan or gluten free option. It would be easier for dinners and wait staff, and having to ask makes me feel like I'm being awkward. However, the risotto was delicious, probably too much salt, but still yummy. In terms of the restaurant itself it feels like it doesn't quite know what it is - decor and music don't quite match somehow.

Worth a look - Edit
Good to see a second Italian in Berwick on happy cow. I had a spaghetti pomodoro which was enjoyable but nothing to rave about. Nice spacious interior and friendly staff.

Surprisingly empty on Christmas Eve so we went for a take away rather than having staff having to fuss around us when they’d naturally rather get away home. The VG pizza and penne arrabbiata were both fine. Not astonishing but satisfying in their own ways. Washed down with a delicious New Zealand Pinot Noir it was a perfect meal.
