Veggie gyro made vegan - Edit
Busy atmosphere but quick service. First time trying and got the veggie gyro without feta, added chickpea balls on their gyro which is all vegan. Confirmed the gyro is now made with olive oil instead of butter. Went home and added violife vegan feta and made some homemade vegan tzatziki sauce. Delicious! 2 gyros with no sides or drinks was $15.

Delicious but limited and pricey - Edit
Always enjoy going here but it's pricey.
Read moreI just recently started experimenting with a vegan diet. AO has limited but tasty options. I get the spread sampler with olive spread, hummus and baba ganoush. This last time I got the Greek pasta salad but asked them to hold the feta. The sauce may have had dairy in it so I may have screwed up there.
Pros: Delicious options
Cons: Pricey, Limited vegan options

Delicious and accommodating - Edit
Greek restaurant that has a few vegan options. Not many of those in Waco! Fries are vegan. Veggie wrap or chickpea wrap can be made vegan. I had the veggie wrap made gluten-free (lettuce as bun) which had delicious hummus, olives, and onions. Def the place to eat vegan in Waco

Unique Atmosphere + Excellent Cuisine - Edit
Alpha Omega is a must for anyone passing through or living in the Waco area. The atmosphere is unique, placed in a revitalized brick building in downtown Waco. The food is excellent, authentic Greek food. The staff is extremely helpful with guiding vegetarian/vegan customers on what their options are, and how to make certain dishes vegan/vegetarian. Although there are less vegan/vegetarian dishes than I would like, the ones available are absolutely excellent. They even have a vegan Greek pastry!
