Best Newest vegan restaurant in Antigua - Edit
If you don’t pay attention you’ll walk right past the entrance! Almendra is an adorable place located on the second floor of the Casablanca hotel. Alejandro has a small Menu, for now, but he serves high quality delicious food made from scratch.

Friendly owner of this restaurant upstairs in a hotel. Serves a variety of smoothies and the nachos were delicious. A bit strange that you have to buzz into the hotel to get to it but they were quick to answer

I got the nachos, beans brownie & carrot cake 🥕 all were so yummy! The nachos had thick tortilla which was great because it carried all the awesome toppings so well. The restaurant is upstairs fyi!

Look for the word vegan on the outside door along the street because you need to go inside and walk up some stairs. It was so nice to get some nachos! Unfortunately the burger was sold out but the falafel was good and hit the spot.

The whole experience here was fantastic - Alejandro's team are wonderful, very welcoming and the service was faster than anywhere else we have been in Guatemala! The menu is currently small, but we tried over half of it between our table and it was all delicious.

Alejandro, the owner, is so kind and friendly who's accomplished so much opening and running this vegan restaurant on his own. The food was quick and delicious, and hearty - we had vegan fettucini and vegan nachos with lots of yummy elements. A great atmosphere upstairs in the open and even better food. Fettuccine for lunch and a brownie for dessert. The limonada with chia seeds was refreshing. Amazing taste in each dish; a wonder considering the lovely owner is just getting started. Definitely somewhere I’d go back to in a heartbeat! ❤️
