Take-out
Vegan restaurant located in MUT (Mercado Urbano Tobalaba), Level -2, with an entrance directly from Subway Station Tobalaba. Offers burgers, hotdogs, bowls, and a few more dishes. Mostly take out. Dishes may include a few different bowls, a few dishes (lasagna, salted seitan or "pastel de choclo" - a Chilean traditional dish), a variety of burgers and hotdogs (called completos). Cheesecake for dessert. Bread and burger patties are house-made. Open Mon-Sat 10:00am-8:00pm, Sun 10:00am-7:00pm. Bank holidays: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Best fully vegan option in the area - Edit
I work nearby, and Alma is the best option for vegan eating in the area. I visit at least twice a week and enjoy a rotation of their daily special (entry, main and beverage for $8.500 10% tip as it's customary in Chile) or the menu dishes (so far I have tried the burgers, the bowls, the vhotdog, the regular fries and the chili fries...). I love the variety for the daily special. It goes from vegan versions of classic chilean dishes to creative takes at international cuisine. Despite visiting quite often, I get to enjoy different flavors.
Read moreThey also offer a variety of sweets. I've tried the brownie cookie and the chocolate muffin and greatly enjoyed both. I believe they carry gluten-free options, but I don't remember which one it was.
Pricewise, it's cheaper than other places in the area, with the advantage of everything being vegan (I've been to other places where they offer daily specials with a vegan option, but it ends up being bland or there's part of the special that's not vegan, usually, dessert).
Please take into account that the daily special is available from Monday to Friday from 12.00 until 16.00. Also, the restaurant is located in a food court with no dedicated sitting space, so you have to look for an open table to sit. I've never had problems with this, even when visiting during busy hours. I advise you to look for the tables at the mezzanines if you don't find any sitting space nearby.
Lastly, I must mention the friendly staff. They are very nice and helpful. I suffer from some food allergies, and they have always offered accommodations so I can enjoy the dishes and specials.
Pros: Delicious food, Great price for the daily special, Friendly staff

Still a lot to improve - Edit
Food was decent. The taste of the rice and the seitan was good, but unfortunately the fries were a bit greasy. I also found it a bit too pricey considering that there’s no service (it’s a food court).

Buena atención y variedad en alimentos veganos - Edit
Me gustó la atención, el espacio se ve limpio, con muchas cositas ricas a la vista. Tienen la opción de menú del día que es un poco más barato.

Good Food and Nice staff. - Edit
Nice food in a quirky location within the MUT Mall above Tobalaba Metro station
Read moreWe had Pastel de Choclo, a Chilean national dish stop.
The hotdogs were good as were the patatas fritas i.e. French fries. Cookies and muffins are available and were good. Prices were reasonable. English is spoken if required.
Will definitely visit again if in Santiago. Went again the next day and was also very good. Had lasagne and a burger.

Good - Edit
I must have come up from the Tobalaba subway station the wrong way because I was across the street from the MUT in another small building of shops. When I found the MUT, I looked for the restaurant on level 2. I thought that the - 2 in the description was a dash 2 but it was a negative 2 or minus 2 meaning 2 levels below ground.
Read moreI ordered the Mex Bowl which is shown in one of my photos. You can see all the ingredients including the fried seitan and black beans. I was expecting to find mostly lettuce underneath but it was less than I expected and it was a variety of greens, not head-lettuce. And the dressing (on the side) was (barely) adequate to cover it all. It was all good, healthy, and high quality food.
