Best coffee but slow service - Edit

Coffee is really good (we had the "Coffee with soy milk") and the smoothies are delicious as well, even though they are quite small. We ordered two wraps (they have Hummus and Tofu) and had to wait almost 45 minutes before we got them (for what they apologized later). Wraps were good but nothing too special.

Come early since all the tables were taken when we arrived at around 1 pm. They do have take-away but I don't know how long it takes for them to prepare.

All in all a nice place with friendly staff and good food and perfect coffee. :)

Pros: The coffee was amazing., Everything is vegan., Prices were okay.

Cons: Slow service. , Limited seating.

Amazing food with amazing prices - Edit

We came here with my friend after a couple of not so great vegan food experiences in Albufeira and although we were expecting great things, we got even more than we thought! I had a wrap, a smoothie, dessert and a coffee and it only cost around 10 euros and it definitely filled me up. Everything was fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious. We have to come here again before we leave!

Pros: Everything is organic, vegan, healthy and made wit

Organic locally sourced 100% vegan - Edit

A perfect lunch time spot. The staff were wonderfully engaging explaining their ethos and the food in great detail, we were excited to order. They had a daily menu as well as a selection of snacks, including a tempeh burger, falafel wrap, etc. The menu came with a juice or tea, soup and a main dish for 9€. Excellent value for the quality. The main dish felt very nutritious and snack was not so snack size.

Pros: Great value, Great menu, The tempeh burger was delicious

Cons: You could tell the desserts were made very well an

Nice place! - Edit

After Didis sadly moved ouy of town this is the place to go for vegan food. No animal products in sigh, nice and committed owners, some great groceries, lovely juices and good feeling. To me the food was a bit lacking in spice and taste. Maybe simply because it is microbiotic and that is the tradition. Way too little real veggies, both cooked and raw, for my taste also. I do suggest giving this nice little place a shot, though!

Pros: Meny changes everyday, Menue on fb, The cold tea and the juices and smoothies are perf

Cons: Too little veggies, Too little taste, Too small portions

Do not leave Albufeira until you've eaten here - Edit

This place is so good it's on the border to insane. I ate here in May, and two months later I am still getting flashbacks of textures and tastes. The food is simple, well thought through and there is no other word of describing it than delicious.
It makes you want eat the menus every day.
Ate there 2 times + takeaway, both times had a very satisfying stay.
The owner is super friendly and really goes beyond usual to explain the menu.
I wish I could live there and eat all the time. Try the pasties!

I've eaten in plenty vegan restaurants during my stay in Portugal, this one was the best by far.

Pros: Great food, Healthy, Realistic prices

Cons: Maybe opens a bit late?

Delicious healthy food - Edit

This place was a culinary highlight of my stay in Portugal and one of the best vegan places I have ever eaten in.
It's a small café with few tables also some outside ones, it has nice, simple, natural decor that is perfectly in tune with what the Alfarroba is about - simple, healthy, delicious cooking, organic ingredients, no refined sugar, no nasty ingredients.
The care and passion of the lovely people running it clearly shows in the food, everything is fresh, every bite is well thought through and delicious, menu is small with a set menu changing daily. Even coffee is the best one I've had while in Portugal, it went well with the tasty (also refined sugar free) desserts, we tried all four and they were all great. There is also a small retail shelving where you can buy some organic products, plant milk, beans, etc.
Café is very popular with locals which is not surprising considering quality of the food and very reasonable prices.
I highly recommend you visit it when in Albufeira.

Pros: Fantastic healthy organic food, Reasonably priced, Set menu changing daily

My first Macrobiotic meal - Edit

I had my first macrobiotic meal yesterday! I didn't know what to expect until the guy explained in detail. It started with beetroot soup, which tasted like the best beetroot soup there was - superb. What followed was a meal with so many different (to me) flavours that I was curious to see what the next one was like! Home-made pickled radish - now there's a taste. Even the green stuff that I thought was decoration was really tasty. I always thought that veggi food was bland......not here! Lovely surroundings. Clean as can be. What a pleasant place to enjoy life for a while.

Pros: Fresh, clean, Pleasant

Cons: non

Fantastic café with the sweetest staff.
The food is made with so much attention to details, it is original and has a fresh taste. Some of the best food I've had for a long time.
High level of service and we got to taste some of the dried Alfarroba plants.
Very reasonably priced for both the delicious food and vegan goods they sell.

I highly recommend visiting Alfarroba Café in Albufeira.

Pros: Organic and locally grown, Friendly staff, Excellent food for a nice price

Cons: Non

new vegetarian and excellent - Edit

This restaurant just recently opened. The owners were friendly and hard working. I would support any new vegan/ vegetarian restaurant. We ordered the tempeh burger and wine. We ate in the patio and enjoyed the meal. The food was good. The cafe was very clean. We will be back again sometime during this vacation.
