I believe it is misleading to list "Al Vignale" on this site - Edit
I believe it is misleading to list "Al Vignale" on this site, at least as a vegan option. I didn't find any vegan dish on their menu. Al Vignale is also a pizzeria, and as any other pizzeria, you can ask them to prepare a pizza with no meat and cheese. Same story for gnocchi or pasta: most of the times it is just a question of asking for something without meat and cheese, in any restaurant.
True is, Sperlonga's restaurants are no place for vegans.
We are here twice in a three night trip to Sperlonga. I was nervous as the town had no Happy Cow listings and no Google or tripadvisor reviews mentioning vegan food. I had no need to be concerned! And hope vegans will come here with confidence😄the place is open late with nice beachside seating as well as indoors. The staff are super friendly, speak English and happy to explain or adapt the menu-and to catch up about the week’s football too! The first night I enjoyed a courgette and aubergine pizza and the second night gnocchi with the tastiest local tomatoes. Prices are average for the area (about €7 a drink and €14 for a meat-free plate). Would highly recommend for the food, the service and the vibes.
