One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had. Their dough is perfect. Lots of different flavors, from classic to creative. It’s best to make a reservation beforehand if you can.

Bland pizza and truly dishonest, mean-spirited manager - Edit
It's been a while since I visited a fully vegan pizzeria, so expectations were high. Staff handed me a tablet, as I neither like nor scan QR codes, and I decided to go for the Parma pizza, which sounded different from what I'm used to. The pizza was bland to say the least, giving me no choice but to add both oils, chili and garlic, in the hopes that it would actually taste like something. Alas, I was out of luck.
Read moreI chose not to order a drink, because water is just about the only thing that does the trick for me.. and they would charge me 50 cents for it. Principled as I am, I let them keep their water. However I couldn't help but notice that a dog at the next table was treated to the liquid in question.. only free of charge! Not sure if it's a way to come off as vegan-friendly, but I found the double standard to be striking.
Things only got worse when the time came to paying: it turned out it was a card-only pizzeria, which I had found no information about whatsoever! They were willing to make an exception because I was lucky enough to have the exact amount of cash on me. The receipt, however, I should forget about. Apparently a card payment is needed to warrant it, but once again, how in the world is one to know? I questioned the legality of this proceeding, and someone, presumably the manager, told me to calm down and not to be rude. Astonishing, because at no point was I loud or aggressive, I just tried to factually get across the fact that I didn't appreciate the whole situation.. and I spoke fast, which I always do, without cursing either, in case that makes a difference. The manager claimed they, of course, welcome input but customers, but it was my "energy" she had a problem with. A rather subjective factor, huh? After having the gall to ask me to leave, as if I were staying on the premises just for the heck of it, she at least promised to send the darn receipt by e-mail; not immediately, which would have been the sensible thing to do, but instead at the end of the night. And guess what, I have yet to hear from the purveyors of the most atrocious service I have experienced in my entire life. Not even if I were to exist for another half a century, or indeed until hell freezes over, will I ever visit Al Catzone. "All the best", said the manager, sardonically, as I was exiting the location, and the ordeal. You get the picture.

Die Pizzen sind außergewöhnlich köstlich.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Auch die Desserts waren ein Träumchen.
Vor allem habe ich mich über die italienische Limo gefreut, die ich zuletzt im Italienurlaub trank.
Wir hatten einen tollen Abend bei euch und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

I had fairly high expectations and ended up a little disappointed. The pizza was okay — good in terms of flavor, but the crust was rather underwhelming.

Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of the atmosphere. The loud techno music and cafeteria-like vibe just didn’t do it for me.

Wow! I had not had a proper Italian pizza in a while (essentially since going vegan) and this place really hit the spot. So yummy! And the cheese was not sticky which happens with most vegan pizzas. Rave Dave pizza was delicious. Bonus points for the espresso martini which was very good. This will probably become my go to pizzeria whenever I am back in Berlin

Decadent pizzas, delicious Caesar salad - Edit
This place gets a lot of hype and it is indeed very good. The dough is a bit thin underneath the toppings but the crust is great. There are a lot of really unique combinations - we liked the rosemary potato pizza and spicy diavolo the best. I thought I would like the truffle cream one but it was just far too creamy for me - still, others might appreciate that! Honestly, my favorite thing was actually the Caesar salad, which was delightfully creamy without being too heavy.

Der Teig war bombastisch. Dünn unter dem Belag, dicker, fluffiger Rand mit himmlischem Geschmack. Ich hätte auch nur den Rand essen können.
Dazu dann noch mitserviertes, sehr leckeres Knoblauchöl. Ein wirklicher Gaumenschmauß, diese Pizzen.
Die Preise für die Pizzen sind absolut fair! Nur Trinken ist schon sehr teuer.
