This exceeded my expectations - Edit
This place exceeded all my expectations (that were already high thanks to the reviews) as an Italian eating a Neapolitan pizza abroad. All the pizzas that I tried here were amazing, including the pistachio one, which I never take for granted. There is the possibility to choose among plenty of original and tasty vegan pizzas. I will surely come back 🌱

The Restaurant has a pretty funky flair to it and the staff was really really nice and super helpful. Took us a while to settle for Pizzas that we wanted and took three different ones. We had Helmut, Parma and Gigi. All of them were quite different but nonetheless amazing. The Pizzas seem quite dry on the menu but they are the complete opposite. Rarely in my life had I something as moist and crunchy in my mouth. See for yourself on the pictures. Would go again.

Read moreDie Ravemusik ist sehr laut, das Restaurant extrem voll und die Wartezeiten dadurch lang. Auch das sehr freundliche Personal hat dadurch leider kaum Zeit für wirklichen Service.
Wir haben uns durch die Umstände ehr gestresst gefühlt.
Wem Lautstärke nichts ausmacht, sollte auf jeden Fall dorthin gehen ☺️
Tipp: Tisch reservieren, da es eine sehr lange Warteschlange gab.

Best Vegan Pizza in Berlin - Edit
The pizza here is incredible. My wife and I have actually done twice already, and are planning on going back again at least one more time. Staff is friendly and I love the cat stickers.

On est arrivé a 20h un mercredi, acceuil au top on avait un quart d'heure d'attente on nous a servis les boissons pour patienter. Le service est trés bon, mais le mieux ce sont les pizzas, la pâte cuite au feu de bois est super bonne je recommande la peperoni pour ceux qui aiment quand ça pique et la 5 fromages pour ceux qui aiment la douceur.

I feel like as a vegan who lived in Italy I really wanted to like Al Catzone more than I did. I loved the variety in toppings, and the vibe of the place. Staff was very friendly, and service was quite quick despite how crowded the place was on a Friday night.

The vegan cream just made the pizza rather wet and hard to eat, and the combination felt like it needed some brightness/freshness (perhaps some rucola might have been nice to balance the heavy flavors). The crust was nice, but not the best I've had either. My partner's (super diavola) was a bit better.
That being said, their parmigiana was amazing! I highly recommend trying it

In a very unassuming building next to Hallisches Tor, you'll find this superb vegan Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is very casual, and far from the stereotypes of Italian restaurants, but the food is excellent. As I was waiting for my pizza, a group of Italians were seated close to me, and if any of the stereotypes are true this must mean it's up to snuff.

Had a billie pizza with eggplant. Very flavourful and tasty like in Italy. Loved the garlic oil that came with our order. Will come back if I visit Berlin again!

Ho chiamato per prenotare un tavolo per la sera stessa intorno alle 18,30 ed il ragazzo al telefono è stato molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha messo un tavolino fuori.

Ho infine optato per una Helmut (patate al forno e salsiccia) che ho poi diviso con il mio compagno il quale invece ha preso una New York city style.
La Helmut era qualcosa di incredibile, anche il mio compagno che non è vegano ed è un grande amante della pizza napoletana è rimasto colpito.
Anche l'altra pizza era buonissima anche se non il mio stile.
L'impasto è perfetto e i condimenti buonissimi, una pizza davvero a prova di onnivori.
Anche la pizza baby (una rossa senza formaggio a forma di coniglio) era buona, l'ha finita il mio compagno non a malincuore 🤣
Il gelato non ci ha fatto impazzire, si sentiva molto la soia, è l'unica cosa che non riprenderei.
Il locale è super kid-friendly: hanno dei giochi per bambini che sono a disposizione dei clienti, ed una giostra di super Mario su cui i bambini possono andare (gratis, va a gettoni che ti danno loro).
Super super super raccomandato a tutti.

Wir gehen häufig nach dem Aktivismus dort essen und es ist immer wieder ein Gaumenschmaus! Also ganz klare Empfehlung. Sie haben auch öfters mal neue Pizzen zur Auswahl und auch die Schokopizza als Dessert müsst ihr probieren! Nicht von dieser Welt. 🤯🤤

I can only give this place the highest praise!! This was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had, vegan or otherwise. The menu has lots of classic and more innovative options, all vegan. We had the Ed and the Billie - both amazing, but the Ed (pistachio pizza) was really incredible. The staff are super friendly and funny, and the decor is really cute inside. Also a nice selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Highly highly recommend!

By far the best vegan pizza I’ve had. The pizzas was so flavourful and the crust was AMAZING! The restaurant had a simple interior and was located in a calm area. The staff was SO nice, they even gave us free ice cream😊 Definitely recommend this place!
