High end locally owned Mediterranean and tapas themed restaurant with a separate vegetarian and vegan 7 course tapas menu of the day, vegan starters, main courses and many side dishes. All labelled. Vegan tapas menu changes every 2 months. Themed Sunday tapas nights 6-10pm eg Asian always have separate meat free menu with many vegan options. Vegan dishes include warm bread, paprika hummus, carrot & onion bhaji, courgette fritter in romesco sauce, hasselback roast celeriac and more. Open Thu 16:00-22:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-23:00, Sun 12:00-16:30, 18:00-22:00. Closed Mon-Wed.

Mediterranean Paradise - Edit
This is an absolutely stunning local place. We are very lucky to have it. The vegan options are exceptional. Can’t be arsed to elaborate just look at my pics. We left stun gunned with happiness. Whilst Happy Cow is an utter bag of crap now I’ll still write reviews for great places like this. Don’t forget to go to Vera’s Bar for a drink before or after. Birtley is alive and kicking.
