Expectations Were Not Met

I had really high hopes for Aama's Kitchen after seeing some great reviews but it fell below expectations during a recent visit.

We started with the Gobi Manchurian which is a staple of mine at many Indian meals. The first thing I noticed was how few pieces there were - I counted five on our plate, which was disappointing. It tasted dine but I didn't think it was worth it for the price.

Next, the Daal turned out to be quite bland and watery. I was missing some of that flavor that I'm used to in order daals I've had preciously.

While I appreciated having many vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, I found our meal pretty subpar at best.
