Delicious vegan lunch - Edit
We opted for the lunch offer which included a main, drink and desert everything is home made and absolutely delicious! We had a tasty pasta salad, iced tea and the absolute best raspberry cheesecake! Highly recommend - a hidden gem and the staff are absolutely lovely! 🥰🌱

I was excited to visit a fully vegan cafe as eating vegan in France in general is not easy! We ordered the €13.50 plate/cake/drink menu. We struggled to understand the menu as our French is very limited but the staff were helpful.
Read moreThere were 2 savoury options so had 1 of each: savoury cake and a feta/lardon ‘quiche’. Both were served with a couple of lettuce leaves. We didn’t enjoy either as they were quite bland, but I guess that’s personal preference. I think that simple vegan food could be represented in a much more inspired way.
We tried the hazelnut and lemon cakes, which were good. Overall, I would’ve been less disappointed if I only went expecting cake and coffee. I got my hopes up with the promise of a lunch option that just didn’t deliver. It was a good price but the savoury options were unfortunately not for me

We had the savory cake and the quiche, they were both rather simple but good nonetheless; and very fair for the price (8 euros).

All-in-all, I think it's a great value, and the staff is friendly.
So if I'm in Rouen again, I'd certainly stop by!

Small patisserie with cute interior design. There’s quite a big terrace as well. We had two different baked goods. One of them was great, the other was OK. The chocolate cake could’ve been a bit more moist for my taste. Still giving 4 stars because it’s fully vegan!

We had the 13.50 euro menus. Drink, plate and dessert. There was only 2 options for lunch, so we had one of each. The tart was nice, the rice dish was very bland. The desserts were nice. Not amazing. But for the price, we were happy with our lunch.

We visited at 1200 on wet Thursday in February and the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The staff explained the menu (or French is poor) and meal deals. We had the onion tarte which was excellent and would also recommend the hazelnut hazelnut pie.

Je suis végétarienne mais je ne trouve jamais de meilleures pâtisseries que À Tantôt ! Les recettes sont subtiles et bien moins sucrées que toutes les autres pâtisseries ce qui permet de bien mieux profiter des saveurs (j'adore leurs desserts aux noix, amandes etc ). Nous y allons dès que nous passons sur Rouen (goûters, petits déj', bûche de Noël, encas salés,...), bref une fan 🐱

Quite simplistic and borderline disappointing. I understand it is the only vegan restaurant in Rouan and I am grateful to them for their enthusiasm but this way you can only make people believe that vegan food is as bland as you « cake salé » with three lettuce leaves as a side dish.

We decided to have lunch at the only vegan place in Rouen and we weren't disappointed at all. The restaurant offers at least two savory options for lunch: we tried their savory tart and it was really good.

This place was amazing. Found it through happy cow. The owner was lovely, spoke good English and was able to make me the most incredible vegan club sandwich with homemade mayo and bread. Sat outside with the sun, a gentle breeze and little birds. It was heaven. Well worth a visit.

I had a lovely nut based cake and a delicious juice- orange and carrot -and my chat with the young man working there was a joy too. So difficult for vegans in Normandy, especially as I was staying in nearby Lisieux with virtually nothing I could eat! The only thing to be aware of, as I found out, there are only sweet foods and various drinks on a Wednesday but they are beautifully made. Well done A Tantot for going against the grain in an area of dedicated carnivores.

Tout petit salon de thé engagé et végane qui propose une formule salée un peu minimaliste. Et si les pâtisseries étaient très bonnes, le cake salé était plus décevant, avec une salade verte qui se limitait à deux feuilles. Joli emplacement, avec une (très) petite terrasse dans la vieille ville.

Had a lovely small lunch of leek quiche with Green salad & a savoury carrot & nut cake. Both delicious. Friendly staff who explained the options. Also had a nut flan and pear tart. We will be going again.
