Great food, low prices - Edit
Lovely eatery, lots of options, also local dishes, friendly staff.
Read moreI usually don't like mock meats, but here they are prepared perfectly!
Plus amazing potato salad.
A bit far from the city centre but definitely worth a journey.

One of the best places to eat in Budapest - Edit
Love the buffet at 827- there is something for everyone, including some really delicious hungarian food. The roast 'meat' in particular is very special (I have no idea how they get the texture so spot on!)
Read moreIt's super easy to navigate the restaurant and the vibe is very relaxed and chill. Also not super expensive for the amount of food you get- would recommend!

Good lunch buffet - Edit
Very nice variety of dishes with and without mock meats so you can bring your meat eating friends and colleagues. Very good price and as it’s paid by weight then you can try bit of everything on one plate. They also switch up some dishes every day. I guess it’s better to go at lunch time to have more options.

Hungarian cuisine - Edit
I took a trip out of the city to visit this place and was sad to be disappointed. I was there late in the day, and the buffet wasn't looking particularly appetizing, nor did it taste good.
Read moreIf you want to try the local cuisine, by all means, this might be your place to try.
Unfortunately I can't recommend it, the food being way too greasy and salty, but people like different things, so maybe you will like it.
Pros: The waitress was a complete sweetheart
Cons: Did not enjoy the food

Cold food - Edit
We visited the restaurant about 5 pm. A lot of the food looked quite old. Seems like they cook for lunch. I recommend to go there earlier durinf the day. The food was also quite cold. Aside of this it was Ok.

Absolutely delicious - Edit
Entirely vegan, stays true to the Hungarian cuisine as far as the dishes and the spices go but obviously substitutes the meat-heavy cuisine with light and healthy options. I could easily take a non vegan person there just as well!

Delicious buffet - Edit
We were keen to visit here to try vegan versions of Hungarian dishes. So much choice in buffet, we struggled to decide what to have! All delicious. Both especially enjoyed the spinach lasagne (which seemed popular with other diners too). Friendly staff. Lots of choice for dessert too - chocolate mouse and cake were very tasty. Highly recommend!

Superb buffet - Edit
We very much enjoyed this place, since you can try many Hungarian dishes in one go. The flavors were good, and there was plenty of choice. The fake "meat" was very well made. Everything is clearly labelled in English, so also suitable for people with allergies and intolerances. Friendly service, too.
Read moreYou pay around 400 frt. per 100g. For Hungarian standards, it might be on the more expensive side, but compared to the rest of Europe quite cheap (I paid around 8 Euros for a full plate and a drink).

Super leckere "Hausmannskost" ! - Edit

Perfect for Lunch Breaks - Edit
This fully vegan buffet was great for lunch with plenty of options available (savoury and sweet). The staff were super friendly and almost everything was in English. 20% off student discount is also offered however it is already super affordable! You pay per weight of your food, 100g = 409huf. I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

A Bountiful Buffet of Goodness - Edit
My vegan family and I are relatively easy to please when it comes to freshly prepared food, but this off-the-beaten-track cafe far surpassed our expectations. The staff were so friendly and explained everything patiently. The self-serve buffet offered more than enough options, and the low price encouraged us to try everything. The prepared dishes were healthier and tastier than the (seemingly) processed meat substitutes, but each of us found multiple favorites. The setting was so intimate and relaxing, we didn't want to leave!

Jack of all trades master of none - Edit
The interior was nice however the food was unpleasant. The restaurant offers a variety of different dishes from different cultures however it is all done poorly, leaving the dishes tasting bland, salty or similar from one another. There tofu curry did not taste of what you expect, the 'sushi' was dyed with food colouring and the rice used wasn't sticky sushi rice but compressed long grain which caused the sushi to be dry and crumble as soon as you bit into it. The salad was okay however it must have been left out a while because the veg in it was starting to turn yellow.

Oh my God! - Edit
We visited this place knowing that have good reviews, but we didn't expect this piece of art! It is maybe the best vegan restaurant I have ever been, coz the atmosphere is realy positive and makes you feel blisfull. The buffet needs no recommendations. Full of vegan delicacies, food and dessert, excellent soups and a lot of sauce. I had a goulash soup, onle plate with food and some dessert. I thought I was going to burst out from the food but realy couldn't stop. Don't miss it, worth's every euro to spend

Great buffet place - Edit
Loved the choice of food at this place- even my carnivore husband tucked into tofu steaks and bbq seitan. A few salads and deserts and soup as well. Lots of choice for everyone and all labelled if you have any allergies. Plenty of seating. Big plate of food cost less than £5 which was very reasonable. Food was kept warm on hot plates which didn’t really keep it that hot. I think it would’ve been even nicer if the food was hotter in temperature. That was the only downside to an otherwise great place.

Barely Edible and Over Priced - Edit
Barely edible and overpriced. Some of the food may have been good when first cooked. But it has been sitting out too long without even being kept warm. Half of the food is dry and not warm enough, and sometimes so dehydrated that it is too tough to chew comfortably. The other half tastes really bad. In either case I have never spit out so much inedible food in my life, and left so much on my plate. But it's just not edible! And I do not like to waste food. And they charge by weight and a lot of it is heavy so you end up paying a lot for it! Way more than you should! This is the type of food you would expect to get for free at a homeless shelter . What a rip off. Perhaps the worst vegan restaurant in the world. The only reason they get good reviews I think is because they are part of a cult and their other members support them.

Good - Edit
I went here once. It was close to closing (about 30 mins) but that was fine. Quite a bit of mock meat but enough to eat of other things (a Hungarian stew, stuffed aubergine, salad, potatoes, veg). The food maybe wasn't amazing but it was good. It was close to where I was and just what I needed when being in town for a week with no kitchen. Nice drinks. Good cake. And I thought it was very reasonably priced. The man who served me was very nice.

Warning 2 restaurants! - Edit
Warning! They have two restaurants in Hungary. When arriving to the north restaurant there was almost no food left and most of the dishes where gone even though the restaurant was open for two more hours. When asking the staff they speak very little English and could not offer anything else than the little of the food that was left. Very disappointing. We decided to eat somewhere else...

loved it and would definitely go there again - Edit
Plenty of options to pick from. The staff was really nice and showed me her favorites. Enjoyed the potatoe-onion-salat very much! It‘s a little outsite the city center but definitely worth the walk since they veganized local food and it‘s very near the bridge that connects you to Margitsziget- Parc :).
