So many great vegan options!

They have a rotating monthly menu, so the vegan options change a bit, if you don't specifically go on Meatless Monday. The vegan quesabirria is obscenely good. The vegan elote, flautas de papa, and any taco with lions mushroom is a must! I don't think I've eaten anything here that I didn't like.

They'll even make the fried plantain dessert without the crema of you ask.

The omnivore husband (and friends!) is always happy to eat here. Beer, cocktail, and mocktail selection is solid!

The walnut creek location is on par with the Albany venue.

And if you go on a day where you can be seated in Jeanine's section - then bonus! She's about the best wait staff you'll ever get.

Tasty vegan options for decent prices

After hearing about this place from a friend, I finally made it in. I got the quesabirria and flautas, and both were delicious! The ingredients were fresh, and you could tell a lot of care went into them. The Bay Area has a lot of meh vegan Mexican food, so it was cool finding a place that is a cut above the rest without being over the top pricey like Gracias Madre.

Pretty tasty

This is why I use HappyCow-to find vegan options in places that don’t have many vegan restaurants. I had two of the vegan tacos - the potato taco was underwhelming, but the vegan birria taco was very yummy (albeit a little greasy). They have a much more expansive menu for their Meatless Monday, which I’m looking forward to trying.

Pros: Meatless Monday , Good beer, Reasonable price

Cons: Not a lot of vegan options on regular menu
