Venezuelan oasis - Edit
I actually don’t remember if we stumbled upon La Arepera or found it on Happy Cow, but either way we were thrilled because we could get a Venezuelan vegan fix! Got a full plate of caraotas (black beans), rice, avocado, plantains and arepas (Venezuelan style—Colombian arepas are different). Nutritious and delicious!

Delicious Arepa - Edit
Unfortunately there are not many vegan options 2-3. But the arepa is delicious. Perfect size if you need food, but the hunger is not that big. I would love a vegan patacón too. That's missing.
