No vegan options at all - Edit
Tried to call ahead to confirm and was told “several vegan options” but it seems they don’t understand at all what that entails and our server didn’t even care to try to make something work for me. I ended up with literally just a plain beyond burger patty after having to explain why I needed them to check the ingredients on the bun. Awful.

Much to our dismay we went yesterday and they have a new menu. The only Vegan options are salad, Avocado toast and a side Seasonal veggies. I am thankful they at least have an option but very disappointed that they removed the other menu items.

I got the blackened cauliflower qith rice and beans and it was amazing! Great outdoor seating and very dog friendly. Great spot in MB with excellent food for everyone!

Vegetarian options listed as vegan - Edit
Went with my family and was looking at the banana pepper calamari, which I had noticed said ranch was included, while the menu said there was no vegan dressing other than oil. After asking the wait staff once about it, I asked again due to suspicion, and I was told that it was not vegan and only vegetarian due to the buttermilk breading(and eggs presumably used, although they did not seem to know if it used eggs). I wound up ordering the Cauliflower steak, which I did enjoy and would reccomend, but I cannot rate any higher considering they do not have veg/vegan options seperate and all lumped under the symbol that means vegans according to their menu.

I was looking forward to taste the blackened cauliflower with rice and beans, I love rice and beans and never tried nothing with blackened seasoning. I also saw the good reviews about this dish here, so I was having some kind of expectations.. I’m pretty sure that something went wrong with that dish as it was excessively salty, like impossible to eat. I told the waiter about it, he offered another dish, I told him I didn’t want any other dish as I was eating only the rice and beans and was already getting full on it. They didn’t charge the dish to my final bill..

They have a vegan burger and cauliflower with beans and rice. I highly recommend the califlower. It is a little spicy and has a delicious mushroom gravy. Also have fried banana peppers that are vegan with modifications. Great choice in Myrtle.

My family and I really enjoyed our meal at 44 & King. I’m the only vegan in my family but my family thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I ordered the blackened cauliflower and a garden salad with the sweet and sour vinaigrette. I will say the vinaigrette was delicious. It was their vegan dressing option they offer. My cauliflower was pretty good but I don’t believe it is something I would order again. It seemed as if it needed something to make it more flavorful. The rice and beans that came with it were slightly mushy and lacked flavor. I was highly disappointed to find out that they do not carry the vegan desserts anymore. I really was bummed about that because that was actually one of the main reasons why I decided to try them out. However, the overall experience was good and I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a vegan friendly option while in the area.

Awesome spot! - Edit
Me and my boyfriend are here on vacation and found a this place by accident! The cauliflower steak was SO GOOD! We also got the chocolate pudding dessert that was 100% vegan & that was delicious too! We sat outside which I definitely recommend on a nice day!
