Very welcoming restaurant, with beautiful interior and plenty of clearly marked vegan options.
Read moreI took advantage of the express lunch deal (starter and main for £13.95), selecting the focaccia tradizionale and mediterranean risotto.
The focaccia, which I shared with my mam was delicious and nice and garlicky, with a lovely vegan cheese. The quality continued with a superbly seasoned and flavoursome risotto, and perfectly cooked vegetables.
I'm already planning a return visit.

Had an excellent post-work midweek express lunch experience here (£11.95 for two courses from 12-6pm Monday to Friday). The Pomodoro D’Estate was superb with a perfect amount of red onion, capers and basil. Not too overpowering on the onion. This was followed by a truly delicious Penne Arrabbiata main course. Always my go-to pasta dish in an Italian resturant. The unique surroundings of Tynemouth station complement the atmosphere. Certainly one of the best Italians around. Adding vegan cheese as an option for pizza would be the icing on the cake.
