Small food cart in French Market

This place could be easy to pass by, as it's just a small food cart in the French Market. Basically, the name says it all - they serve potatoes. And chili. But that's it. All vegan though. Potato "fries" are actually baked, so it's nice to get something healthier. There are a number of different ketchup and dipping options.

The chili was a veggie chili and a little sweet - not spicy at all.

The potatoes are not sitting out ready - they seemed to be baked per order so if you're in a hurry this isn't the best place because you will wait a while.

A good healthy option.

Great idea but needs tweaking

I was very excited to try this place. However, it was a difficult task. First, they never answer their phone even during the business hours posted on Google. Second, they don't appear to stick to any set of hours. For instance, I arrived at the opening time posted on Google but the person arrived over an hour later (and as I stood there for many minutes waiting for service, she played on her cell phone). Third, they are either popular or bad at stocking supplies. Even arriving upon opening they were already out of all potatoes except sweet potatoes. When I managed to order, I got the sweet potato fries with chili and cheese and a side of chipotle ranch. The chili was really liquidy so the fries ended up soggy, but everything was delicious. I really loved the chipotle ranch and sweet potato combination, and the vegan chili was great on its own. They had many desserts which looked delicious too, though I didn't try any. With a little tweaking, this place could be amazing!

Pros: 100% vegan, Convenient French Market location, Delicious customizeable options

Cons: Poorly kept hours, Poorly stocked, Poorly staffed

Terrific potatoe wedges and amazing sauces!

Delicious oven baked potato wedges with a variety of toppings, all which are vegan! For those of us living a cruelty free life style, this is pretty incredible, especially with options like chipotle mayo and blue cheese! The wedges came in an easy to carry cone, and for me at least, took a few hours to eat since it was such a large portion. I thought the price and amount of food was perfect! They also sell desserts by Girls Gone Vegan. Service was great, will definitely be stopping by again on my next trip to NOLA.

average

I thought that the potatoes would be unique. Just regular sweet potatoes already cut.

Great food & service - great fries & chili

Great fast service. The fries were great. I loved the chili as well. We were allowed to try various sauces before deciding which we wanted to order. They have a variety of refrigerated drinks. The ice cream is also good. The bus stops right in front of the restaurant. This is a great place for an informal lunch.

Pros: Great variety of sauces & fries, You can try sauces before ordering, Great chili

Cons: Out of the central area

All vegan. ALL VEGAN.

And did I mention that it's all vegan?
The potatoes, delicious. The array of sauce options, almost overwhelming and delicious. All sorts of yummy vegan beverages in the cooler. Chili and soup. Frozen chocolate covered bananas. Organic. Yummy coffee, delicious teas. Free water because they're sweethearts. Super friendly staff. Awesome décor. Plus there are rumors of new and exciting things to come from this place!

Pros: ALL VEGAN!

A Freaking Mazing :-)

It was a struggle finding a healthy place to eat in such an unhealthy area where everything is either fried or has pork, beef, or just meat in general in it. When the results came up that 3 potato 4 was not even a mile from my job, eye jumped on my bike and went to see what it was like from the friendly guy on the phone to the whole atmosphere walking in.

The food was absolutely amazing and didn't feel that fullness that normal food would give, the soup and potatoes are to die for as well as the juices.

Every chance eye get eye will be stuffing my face here.
Thanks again for the fast food joint for the Earth Friendly Beings.

Pros: great flavor , friendly place and people, amazing service

Great vegan food and atmosphere!

So happy to find this cute place with vegan food! The potatoes were so delicious and fresh with the bbq sauce and a chocolate dipped banana. Fair trade, organic chocolate too! Everything about this place is super neat! They compost and recycle, such a low footprint. Water comes in Mardi gras cups that they wash and reuse. The owners are very friendly and great to talk to, nice to learn some new stuff. They focus on education and have some PETA materials which is cool to see. Definitely make this a stop, you'll feel great about it and make some new friends too! Loved it y'all!

The best fast food ever!

These baked fries are superb! Fries were already my weakness, and to be able to get them baked, non-gmo, with such an amazing array of sauces and salts, is pure heaven for me. When you add in the soups and chocolate covered bananas, what more does one need for a good, fast, healthy meal? Well, how about a complete dedication to being a green business with a sharp eye to carbon footprint reduction, for starters?
Beautiful decor, free WiFi, great music, good videos and, I forgot to mention, excellent coffee; an all around cool place to eat and socialize. This will become one of your favorite places to visit, as the owner has many future plans for your total enjoyment.
You won't be disappointed, I promise, so tell the owner I sent you, and have a great time and enjoy some great food too.

Pros: Great service, Highest quality food available, Totally green enviroment

Cons: Might have to park a block away., Might not be able to stop eating fries., Might not want to leave
