I've had a Pieminister pie from the supermarket before and enjoyed it so I was happy to give the restaurant a try when in Manchester yesterday.
Read moreThere are 2 vegan pies currently on the menu: the Mooless Moo and the Chana Rama. I was tempted by the Chana Rama, but felt the Moo would go better with mash and gravy.
The gravy is always vegan, but you have to specify vegan mash. For some reason (maybe butter added), the garden peas are only vegetarian, which was annoying as I didn't want my mushy peas to be 'minty'.
They have one vegan dessert option, a pecan pie sundae, but i didn't try it on this occasion.
Overall, nice food and nice staff. They have second location in Manchester too but it looks smaller, from the outside at least!

Visited for lunch during the week. They have 3 vegan pies on the menu, 2 vegetarian pies and 2 vegetarian filo pies. As a vegetarian I had the big cheese which tasted great. They have vegan mash available and one vegan dessert. Service was quick and staff very friendly. Would happily return.
