Best Vegan Variety - Edit
I love the fact that they have such a variety of vegan options. From jerk chicken to pizza, and they do not disappoint! We will definitely be back sooner than later…

Underwhelming - Edit
Tried this place out because it seemed well-reviewed. Visited on a Sunday night, which might have impacted our experience. I'll preface everything by saying we'd go again to give it a shot, but we definitely didn't get the best of what this restaurant has to offer on the first go.
Read moreThe food was okay (got a vegan jerk chicken and fried okra). The fried okra was really good and the jerk chicken was flavorful. Definitely had enough of a kick to give it flavor without being overwhelmingly or pointlessly spicy.
We were disappointed overall to find they were out of a number of their most popular items (like the sausage sandwich). Staff also seemed confused about why we were surprised they were out of items. Also, I paid cash and they just didn't have change? I don't really care because I usually just toss the change in the tip jar but in this case they just straight up didn't have the change and that was the end of the conversation.
Really underwhelming compared to all the great reviews, but, I'll try it again next time I'm in town and hopefully find out it was a one-off disappointing experience.

LOVE!!! - Edit
The hot sausage was so good holy moly! So was the burger. And I don't even like mushrooms, but my dad ordered the fried mushrooms and I was OBSESSED! The owner was so so so sweet and gave me a free bowl of gumbo because he enjoyed our conversation🥹🥹 The vibe is awesome inside, I love the old school hip hop and all the stickers are so fun. We sat outside which was nice for a more relaxed feel. I wish I lived in NOLA so that I could go here all the time!

The hot sausage poboy stole my heart! Before going vegan, hot sausage poboys were my thing and I missed them a lot until I found this place. It is so delicious and would eat here a million times.

Local Cuisine and Vegan! - Edit
Tasty sandwiches and wraps, I had the crabby patty served as a wrap. My husband had the Hot Sausage PoBoy and we shared the huge serving of fries he ordered. We got the chocolate chip cookies to go! Good food, we left stuffed!

Wow! - Edit
Had the Vegan Hot Sausage PoBoy and fries, chocolate chip cookies. The PoBoy was one of the best sandwich I’ve had. Portions are huge. On a different note: we ordered food to eat there and everything was in a plastic bag, and catchup was in little plastic containers. The single use plastic drives me nuts. Great to support all vegan restaurants.

My First Jerk Sandwich - Edit
Tried my first Jerk Sandwich - lots of flavor and plenty of greens. Mushroom Po Boy was also delish. They were attentive to my bell pepper allergy and kept a clean, brightly colored & eclectically decorated restaurant. This was worth driving from the other end of the Mississippi. Nice to meet the owner & developer of the recipes.

Fantastic sandwich - Edit
I had the spicy sausage po boy here the other night and I’m still thinking about it. Definitely a top five vegan sandwich I’ve ever had. Bread was fantastic and the sandwich was spiced perfectly. It’s a bit pricey but very much worth it. Definitely going back the next time I’m in Nola.

Terrible experience - Edit
This has been the worse experience. We were their 1st customers. They were out of okra, beyond burgers, mushrooms, black bean, BBQ for the jerk and water. And they were very impersonal.

The location may be a little sketchy, but the restaurant itself is very nice. I had the mushroom Poboy and it did not disappoint. It’s enough for two people!

Oh boy po boy 😋 - Edit
Worth the trip, this place is lovely and the po boy was amazing, recommend highly. The cucumber water was lovely even if it wasn’t with English cucumbers 😂. Staff is really friendly and very chatty. It’s a very proud to be vegan place with its art. Really worth going.

I was in town. Once again, it was delicious. My only complaint is that it could use some more hot sausage. There’s a lot more bread than “meat” so that was disappointing. Next time I’ll just ask for extra and it will be perfect.
I tried the fried okra and it was good but it could use a batter that actually sticks and is a little heartier and probably a sprinkle of salt or seasoning once it comes out the grease. Otherwise, I’m a fan and can’t wait to go back to try the jerk chicken wrap.
Check them out!

Great vegan place, a bit pricey though - Edit
Mostly a takeout place, although they do have seating. They have things like vegan wraps, burgers, subs, pizzas, poboys, and salads too. I had the Vegan Hot Sauce PoBoy, which was good but rather pricey at $15.50 plus $1 for vegan cheese. I wanted the crabby patty but they were out of that. As a tourist to the French Quarter, it's a bit out of the way, but definitely delicious.

The best vegan hot Sausage - Edit
I love the vibe at the restaurant, they have game to play while your food is being prepared. The food is freshly prepared and every time we go the food is consistent. My favorite item is the vegan hot sausage poor boy, but I like mine on bun. They make it in house and it is delicious!!!

New Orleans food! - Edit
I got a hot sausage po boy, and it was amazing. It's on the Westbank, but it's worth the drive. So so so good. 100% vegan and they have pizza, salad, mac and cheese, po boys, smoothies, and burgers. Best po boy I've had.
