Very tasty, friendly staff 💗 - Edit
I would give 5 stars but can only give 4 on this app as the restaurant isn’t fully vegan.
Read moreI found this restaurant on the happy cow app and I was pleasantly surprised!
I had the chaat bombs to start (very pretty, usual and very tasty!); the aloo gobi and achari baingan for main; pilau rice, chilli chips and a roti to share.
All the food was hot, tasty and a good level of spice. I especially enjoyed the aloo gobi.
I was reassured that most curries could be made with vegetable or sunflower oil if needed as my usual order is a mushroom madras but I was happy to try new items.
My husband was in paneer heaven! (He’s a veggie, I’m a vegan).
Very reasonably priced and they brew their own ale too locally- Wonderful. We will be returning.
Thank you!

Great vegan offering - Edit
After doing veganuary I decided to stick with it and have now become fully fledged vegan. I’ve always loved my Indian food and thought I’d really miss this due to most Indian restaurants cooking with ghee.
Read moreI found this gem of a restaurant online who have a fab varied vegan menu. The service was fabulous and the waitress is hilarious. From the vegan menu I had the samosa to start, followed by the jalfrezi, served with mushroom rice, Malala fries and a lovely delicate bread. Every dish served was delicious and tasted so fresh. The portions were more than sufficient and the presentation of each dish was very fine cuisine.
Obviously that was a lot of food, so I took some home with it.
This place is from now on my favourite Indian restaurant. The 5 star hygiene Rating is also another selling point for me. I’d thoroughly recommend you trying this place.
Pros: Fresh tasting individual dishes, Reasonable price, Lovely staff
Cons: Parking directly outside can be an issue
