Great vegan options! - Edit
This is a natural food store with an in-house juice bar and a mostly-vegan hot food bar. The hot food bar is delicious with choices that even many vegan restaurants do not have. We went back there a few times for food even though the town is full of restaurants, because it was that good. And the store itself has a full selection of healthy vegan items, and also vegan junk food (maybe not so healthy, but hey, I was on vacation).

Great place, friendly staff - Edit
Stopped in at the end of October on a day of the week when the hot bar wasn’t open, but was able to get vegan lentil soup, a smoothie, a muffin, and a bagel toasted with tofutti.

Great buffet - Edit
We stopped into 141 hoping to shop, but the bulk department did not have the items we needed, and the grocery prices were unfortunately much higher than where we live. Thankfully we took away from the hot bar for lunch- the selections were mostly vegan, and clearly labeled, and most importantly compelling. We tried the mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy and Kung Pao Tofu- all vegan- and would have liked to try several other offerings had we not already bought takeout salads at another cafe. The staff were the best, and after our visit I wished to just live within the 141 community. We wished we hadn't passed on the raw vegan chocolate mousse- it was $8 for a small amount, and we decided in retrospect it would have been worth the price. Next time we will correct that error in judgement.

singing their praises - Edit
Just adding to the chorus of people who love 141! Went there for the first time today and found everything on my list for my July 4th dinner...including vegan Boston baked beans from their hot bar. I started chatting with Chris, one of the owners, and what a joy he is!! He even made a point to introduce me to his partner, Joe. The space is gorgeous and lots of vegan options (Gardein, FieldRoast, Daiya, along with their hot bar, juice bar, and kitchen). Definitely something everyone should check out while visiting P-town.

one of my favorites - Edit
Whenever, and I truly mean whenever, I am in ptown I make sure to stop in for at least a juice. More often than not though I come out with one of their amazing homemade vegan dishes or soups. The store is gorgeous, and the people are truly amazing. I wish ptown wasn't 45 minutes form my house because I'd be there everyday!

Taste-wise, I prefer Tiny's or Devon's, but this is a great option for a vegan/vegetarian group in the center of town. Also has groceries.
Pros: Many vegan options, Hearty & healthy
Cons: Grocery store w/ small eating area, Food was good, but not special, May not be good for omnivores

Ptown's best place for vegans - Edit
It's the biggest health food store in Provincetown. It's well-stocked and they are open to community suggestions for new products to bring. Nice atmosphere, clean, well-organized. Food in the hot bar is yum (vegan options mainly), smoothies/juices too. Disadvantages: Pricey. It was especially frustrating that they wouldn't lower the prices for day-old to-go kitchen food. Come on! I'm paying the same exaggerated price for a 3 day old wrap or a salad. Also, produce used for the juices and smoothies is not organic. (Note: this info might be outdated, last time I checked was summer 2013)

Now called 141 To Go - Edit
This place is now called 141 to Go. They are less of a store and more of a to-go cafe offering juices, cookies, sandwiches, smoothies and some other small items.
Read moreThe staff is very friendly, there are lots of vegan and gluten free options . I was pleased with everything I had from there (triple chocolate cookie and a mixed juice). Definitely a great place to pick up something small.

This is incorrect. The market is still a pretty big market at 141 Bradford St. 141 To Go is their second location open during the summer season only, a smaller to-go shop at 148 Commercial St in the West End.

Natural Market - Edit
Was pleasantly surprised by the market on our recent trip to the Cape. They had a separate juice bar from the main market, bakery section with a few vegan options and a hot food bar that looked delicious. Everything on the food bar was vegan except for one item that contained dairy, and it was all clearly marked. I got a cup of their vegan corn and butternut squash chowder and a green juice, everything was really good. I went back later in the day to try the food bar but I guess thats something you need to get to early on as everything was almost gone.
