Tofu Fried Rice & Miso Soup 😋 - Edit
SUPER friendly staff (I didn’t get her name unfortunately) walked us through vegan options, even recommended a modification - adding extra veggies to the miso soup. Fried rice made fresh, with crisp veggies and large pieces of tofu. Will need to come back for the tofu wantons. Glad to add this to our go-to place list for a quick vegan meal in PTown. ❤️

Vegan options - Edit
It sounded like the vegetable fried rice could be made vegan. The dumplings do have oyster sauce, but the person working there said it was “vegetarian oyster sauce”. Try it at your own risk vegans. The lo mein cannot be made without the oyster sauce.

Lovely little restaurant - Edit
Look, I’m not saying you’re going to get incredible authentic Chinese food here, but it IS delicious comfort food with lovely service. I ordered the tofu dumplings (great when fried!), but they also gave me the stir fried broccoli simply steamed, and I was also told that the sweet and sour tofu was vegan. Before I had even arrived the lady working at the front had taken it upon herself to write down lots of recommendations for our stay, including restaurants and tourist attractions. Very kind people willing to accommodate. For this reason I recommend them!

No vegan options - Edit
Asked inside and they said no vegan options available. Veggie dumplings (and I think the lo mein) are mostly plant based but do have oyster sauce.

Some Veg - Edit
I had the tofu dumplings and they were pretty good. What I’d expect and for a fair price in town. Not many veg options on the menu, I would definitely eat here more if there were.

Veg dumplings - Edit
Appeared to be the main vegan option. Dumplings were pretty good unless you don’t like the Brussels sprouts/Kimchi kind of taste.
