    Mix the wheat gluten and the garlic in a bowl. Then mix the soy sauce in with the cup of vegetable broth.
    Slowly add the liquid mix to the wheat. It will start having a rubber-like consistency.
    Once the mixture is well combined knead your seitan 10 to 15 times. Don't use a mixer.
    Let it to sit for 5 minutes then knead again 10 times. Give it the shape you most like and start slicing it in small pieces.
    You can then choose to cook your seitan in a pan, the oven, or save it for later use.


    1 cup wheat gluten
    3/4 cup vegetable broth
    2 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 chopped onion
