Raw Vegan Brownies w/ Icing

3 cup nuts of choice
2 cup dates
1/2 cup cacao powder

For icing:

1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 teaspoon vegan protein powder (optional)
1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional)


Use a food processor or blender to mix together the dates, nuts and cacao until thick and smooth. Press the mixture down into a baking tray

Slowly heat the coconut oil until it melts

Take the oil off the heat and fold into the cacao powder and any other extras you're using.

Spread the icing over the raw brownie mixture.

Refrigerate for two hours to set everything, slice and serve.
