Peppered Snow Peas

    Place oil in fry pan, heat on high for two minutes. Add all ingredients except corn starch, water. Let simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
    In a cup mix water and cornstarch, and pour into pan. Stir continuously for 1 minute or until the liquid thickens into a gravy.
    Serve over rice.


    1 cup whole snow peas
    1 cup shredded carrots
    4 ounce sliced mushrooms
    1 cup bean sprouts
    1 stem celery
    2 scallions or green onions
    1/2 tablespoon black pepper
    1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
    pinch of sea salt
    1 tablespoon of soy sauce
    1/3 cup white wine
    1 tablespoon corn starch
    3/4 cup water
    1/8 cup vegetable oil
