    Instructions

    If cooking from raw beans, soak the beans overnight with water. Remove the water and rinse the beans. Boil with plain water for 1 hour or until beans soften.
    Or use ready cooked beans.
    Place beans in a bowl. Squeeze in juice of lemon. Add crushed garlic with salt.
    Finely chop cilantro and add it to the mix.
    Add apple cider vinegar and more salt to taste, if desired.

    Ingredients

    1 cup butter bean (or another similar white bean)
    1 lemon
    2 garlic cloves
    1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
    Salt to taste
    optional garnish of fresh cilantro or herb
