    Instructions

    Gently combine all ingredients in a bowl with a spoon. Salt and pepper to taste.
    If adding avocado, place the chunks on top.
    Serve with tortilla chips, or over rice and beans, or a Mexican dish.

    Ingredients

    4 medium tomatoes, diced
    1/4 medium red onion, diced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 handful fresh cilantro, chopped
    1/2 lime or lemon, juice of
    salt and pepper to taste
    optional:
    1 jalapeno or chili pepper, diced
    1 ripe avocado, chunks

      This one is very easy to make, and the taste is a guaranteed fresh and delicious. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or atop a burrio. Maybe you can mix in some ripe mango chunks to give it a fruity taste. Enjoy.

      I made this with fresh heirloom tomatoes bought at my local farmers market (see photo above).
