Schnell Veg is an alternative-rustic-styled venue (tables out of europallets and with beer bottles as flower vases) with lots of indoor and outdoor space. By the way, all the fresh flowers looked really lovely, but they don't looked like hand-picked somewhere around, which would be great, rather than imported from Kenya, which would be an ambiguous issue. Anyways, Schnell Veg is definitely a comfy place where you can sit around for hours. The menu offers a variety of tempting meals, many of which seem to be special creations. I had a so called "Flammkuchen", a pizza-like dish, which first was surprisingly vegan and second tasted great. It was pretty hot though due to harissa and roquette; I wouldn't be able to eat it without something to drink aside. I'd like to emphasize their sharp knifes, because often times you would only have some blunt, pretty much useless knifes, since you can't cut with those anything properly. The prices for food were moderate, whereas the beverages could be a bit cheaper. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I hadn't much waiting time (I even got a small toasted bread with a special spread before the main menu was ready); in this respect they live up to their name (since "schnell veg" in German means something along the lines of: quick veg[an]). So all in all a somewhat hipster place, but a nice one. They have good Wi-Fi connection too. Recommended!
