  • A fair choice if accompanied by meat eaters

With branches all over the UK, Las Iguanas is a chain providing dishes from Latinamerica. There is a fair range of vegetarian dishes on the menu, however, only few vegan ones. There is a special menu for vegetarians and vegans and those who want to eat gluten free though. I opted for the Portobello Mushroom Fajita (made vegan by request). I got fried mushrooms with some vegetables, tacos and separately guacamole, a hot sauce and hot peppers. The food was good and the portion was filling, but all in all with too much oil for my taste. Furthermore, I couldn't help noticing that the vegan option of the Fajita was simply the regular one without any cheese for the same price (13,95£). Service quick and friendly. More vegan options would be nice. If you want to go out for dinner with meat eaters, las Iguanas is a fair choice.
