Sandy Lo is a native New Yorker, whose debut novel, LOST IN YOU (lulu.com, 2009) was inspired by her love and involvement with pop music via StarShine Magazine, an entertainment website she founded in 2001. Her interviews with StarShine Magazine have included Taylor Swift, Jonas Brothers and Lady Gaga.

Sandy loves to involve music in her books in the form of fictional bands like Sound Wave and now Tortured in her latest book DREAM CATCHERS (lulu.com, 2010). The song "Haley's Letter" featured in the novel is available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and other major retailers. It was written by Sandy and longtime friend, James Manzello, whom also performs the song on the track.

In September 2010, Sandy was listed in the book "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading", released by the producers of The Authors Show, which Sandy was a guest on back in 2009.

Aside from writing, Sandy is an animal lover, which inspired her to begin a vegetarian lifestyle. She enjoys cooking, dancing and spending time with her fun-loving family and friends whenever she can.

Sandy is currently working on the follow-up to DREAM CATCHERS and hopes to release it in early 2011.
