Leonardo Da Vinci was a vegetarian Renaissance painter and inventor

Lived: April 15, 1452 - May 2, 1519
Birth place: Florence, Italy

Leonardo Da Vinci, now deceased, is most famous for his painting, The Mona Lisa. Today, his paintings and drawings, including sketches of inventions and self-portraits, are highly prized by museums and private collectors.

But more than a painter, Da Vinci was an original and free thinker, and inventor.
