As a real great big fan of Metallica, knowing that the guitarist of the band is a vegetarian make me feel really good!

I'm not too sure if he still is a vegetarian but from what I've heard in late 80s, he got really mad at people throwing ham-sandwiches at his guitar when the band made a first appearance at the Donington festival.

Most guys from my high school days (1990s) listened to some Metallica. I did, too. But I didn't know that he was a vegetarian then. Interesting.
