Earth Cafe Sister - Edit
They have the same menus, setting and products. I think the price is the same too. Everything's delicious but not everything's healthy. So, choose wisely.

Sadly underwhelming - Edit
I always feel a little strange reviewing a high-ranking place low, and I know it depends on the day and dish (partner enjoyed her hot dog, and it looked better than what I had). Anyway, I had the seitan steak with mashed potatoes, which I was pretty excited about at first. When it came out, the steak was just a bit above room temperature, the tiny side of broccolis was straight up cold, and the mashed potatoes were lumpy. And not in the good way, in the "biting raw potato" way. The sauce that came with it was also cold, and honestly I don't know what I was supposed to use it on. I ended up using it with he broccoli since I didn't want to ruin the temperature of any other food.
Read moreThe meal was probably a three, but something about the shop aspect of this location knocks one more off: some of the organic products they're selling are from China. The fact that they carry such things makes me question how scrupulous they are in their selection criteria for the food ingredients. Dubious. Would not recommend.
Edit: went back a second time before leaving Bali and ordered a burger, the bun of which had mould on it. I pointed it out for the sake of quality control, but said I didn't want to send it back as I'd have been fine picking it off to avoid food waste, but they insisted on taking it back. Tried to drop my rating to one star, but it can't be done!

Long waiting and dry pancakes - Edit
There was so much staff, but the food came very late. As my dish arrived, my friend’s pancakes came 30 min. later. They were also tasteless and dry. It was a pity because overall it seemed like a good restaurant. We would give it a chance again.

Lunch at Zula - Truly Vegetarian Paradise - Edit
I had lunch twice at this restaurant. Its located at a busy tourist spot, Semiyank, Bali. It has a large menu of vegan food. It was a bit difficult for me to decide what exactly to have. It has less Indian vegan option. I did try Samosa, fruit salad, fried potato slice (Its named something else in the menu), juice and coconut water. The charges are expensive.

Great vegan options! - Edit
Even though it’s a vegetarian restaurant, the vegan options are really awesome! Salads are really good and so is the burger. It’s a great 12min walk from the surf beach.

Nice Health Choices - Edit
My wife and I hung out here for a couple of hours waiting to go to the airport. I had a smoothie a main course and a dessert and they were all very good. The chocolate triangle was amazing. Overall great place, a little pricey in my opinion.

Zulas (Vegetarian paradise) - Edit
You know sometimes when you find a vegetarian restaurant it can be a weird food combo experience and you walk out hungry and not satisfied.
Read moreThis one is the best vegan restaurant i can remember. As I entered and peered at the extensive menu with all the mind blowing combinations I instantly knew I was home. also the natural Woody atmosphere down to earth look impressed me. The music was very nice the air-conditioning was comfortable not fridge cold. There is tons of great vegan food and very fresh and nutritious, Amazing fresh juices, variety of vegan burgers, tacos and burritos, Sietan tofu, tempe. There are fabulous salads, mid eastern delights, mind blowing soups. it is all too much to describe. I had the perfect burrito called on the menu, and perfect it was. The menu choices are vast.
this added later; after motorcycle auto madness of this part of bali, coming to zula is home, funky wood furtinature, and allways soothing music. I had the Miso soup, and i savor every drop just like the mix mushroom soup. but the probiotic coconut is very sour, but maybe your body need this.
Pros: moderatly cheap, very clean and homelike, atmosphe, The menu selection is huge. Fresh juices.

So many options! - Edit
We had the best dinner here. So Many options... the medeteranian is the best, I have been craving it ever since. The staff on the other hand were not great, not helpful at all or polite - luckily the food made up for it!

Overall a great dining experience! The service staff were extremely helpful and friendly – as my family and I do not consume onion & garlic – the staff carefully pointed out which we can/cannot consume, allowing us to not feel handicapped while looking through the menu. However, I would like to point out how the diner is a vegan restaurant and not necessarily vegetarian as they do not serve eggs and diary products, and do instead serve onion and garlic options.

Mi Paraíso Orgánico- Vegetariano! - Edit

Same as Earth Café & Market - Edit
This is just another location of Earth Café & Market on Laksamana. No need to visit both, though I liked it there more simply because the space is bigger and felt less cramped. Menu more or less the same, food just as good, generous portions although not cheap by local standards.

Big food variety - Edit
We love the meals in all restaurants from the Down to Earth group. Big variety and especially good when you don't want to eat raw vegan and/or indonesian.
Read moreThe sandwiches are fantastic we love the burrito and don't miss out on the planet platter and the mediterranean platter, which are both fantastic.
Pros: mainly vegan dishes, very tasty, you can buy essential vegan stuff in the shop like
Cons: quite expensive, it's a pity that in the shop they sell animal prod, they charge you for plain water

Only go here for the mediterranian platter! - Edit
Resturant/shop trying to be fresh but only feels stale. Ate here afew times and must stay it's very overrated! Falafel with all the sides was good but expensive! Other food was bland to bad and we were only two people but still couldn't get our food served at the same time but only after one had finished... Would have scored lower if not for the falafel cause the strawberry pie was FAUL, VEIL AND HORRIBLE. ALSO SELLS FISH OIL AND SHARK OIL! hardly vegetarian....

Nice Place to Visit - Edit
This is exactly the same shop as Earth Shop down the street. Same merchandise, same foods, same everything. Just two different locations. Absolutely no reason to visit both.
Read moreDefinitely more convenient for residents or guests with the means/desire to prepare food. Most of the goods are ingredients, but they do have a few snack-type items. A lot of trendy pseudo-science wares (essential oils, homeopathy, 'essences', etc.), but all in all a decent stop.
