Delicious food & friendly service - Edit
This is a popular restaurant with my family because we know it'll please the vegans, vegetarians and omnis. The rustica pizza here is incredible, a crisp, delicate crust loaded with super flavourful toppings. Zizzi don't just plonk veggies on dough and call it the Vegan Pizza, you'll get things like artichoke, olives, vegan pepperoni and more. The dessert we had was also incredible, though very very rich and sweet. I could never manage the full 3 course meal so ended up taking some home; breakfast pizza!!
Read moreI would say that on the set menu we had, there was only one vegan option for a starter and it was kinda 'meh', tomato bruschetta. However, when the main is this good, you don't really mind if the starter was just a warm-up.
The dessert was very tasty but verging on too-sweet, though a kid would probably love it. It was also pretty obviously not fresh, as mine had a wee dent from where it had been knocked in the freezer. I'd expect this is pretty standard for a chain restaurant though so I don't mind!
Staff here are really warm and accomodating, we had a lovely chat with our waitress and she seemed like a very genuine person!

A decent vegan pizza - Edit
Been here twice now and they have a pretty good vegan pizza for a big chain restaurant. Pizza and olives is kind of your only choice here but the staff were helpful, you have a good choice of toppings and the vegan cheese is pretty good. Could do with some more vegan options for dessert.

Cons: Needs more vegan desserts

Long wait for a good pizza - Edit
Even though Zizzi is a chain, they actually have quite a nice vegan menu (which you have to ask for) with three pizzas, two pasta dishes and some starters and desserts. We had the pizzas and they tasted really nice (but at 10-12 pounds each were a little expensive, particularly given that this is a chain restaurant).
Read moreDrink selection is not so nice and very expensive, but you can always order tap water for free. Also, expect to wait a long time for your food, which might be good or bad depending on your expectations.
Pros: Good vegan pizzas, Vegan menu, nice location
Cons: have to ask for the vegan menu, pricey, long wait

The Best Vegan Pizza - Edit
The vegan zuca pizza is simply excellent, as is the lentil ragu. I haven't found a better vegan pizza in Scotland

Great vegan pizza! - Edit
I was really impressed that Zizzi’s have a separate vegan menu. I had pizza which was delicious, and included vegan cheese (coconut based if I recall). They had a few starters which I didn’t try but looked nice, and also deserts which again sounded good but after the yummy pizza there was no space to try them. Next time :-)

great brushetta and pizza - Edit
The menu is very clear with there being a separate menu for vegans with lots of options. Had the brushetta which was great and the Margherita pizza with vegan cheese and added other toppings.

Great vegan pizza! - Edit
I visited for lunch not long after the introduction of their vegan menu, I had the classic margherita and nectarini for dessert. Both were very nice, the vegan cheese is made from rice milk, which was surprisingly very tasty - I was skeptical at first, but I'd definitely eat here again!

Vegan pizza - Edit
We got hungry from walking around Glasgow, and when I checked the HappyCow app to see what was closest, this came up.
Read moreThe vegan pizza was very good, they use a homemade cheese made from rice milk. The waitress told us they had only recently started doing that, and was very interested to find out what we thought of it. It was a little thinner/runnier than most vegan cheeses but it tasted good.
Pros: Pizza with vegan cheese
Cons: Serves meat
