I understand sometimes staff have bad days, but when I entered the restaurant during stated open hours yesterday, said hello and asked politely for a menu, I was treated unkindly and like a nuisance. The staff member seemed very frustrated that I was there, and said they wouldn’t be serving anyone “for a while”, and she then recommended a restaurant at the end of the block that she said was open. I went there and they were open, but they didn’t have even one vegan option and a very meat heavy menu, I’m wondering if she did it deliberately because she seemed mad I was there? It just seems a bit odd that someone working in a vegan restaurant would recommend that.
Read moreI understand some restaurants are sometimes closed when hours say they should be open, that’s life. But to treat customers badly when they approach and politely ask for a menu is just a drag. I can’t recommend this place.

Went there just as they opened. I was dreaaaming about their breakfast bun. I honestly expected an english muffin type of food, but this was just as good. An INCREDIBLE meat patty, flavourful red sauce with onions, a hash brown, bacon and cheese all wrapped in a shiny brioche bun. Every bite was excellent, and the waiter was super kind.

Read moreThis used to be a great place, but value for money absolutely went down the drain, at least with the current menu. Paid €12 for a very basic pita with a few falafel balls. Practically no sauce or salad. Also no more service at the table: you have to order at the bar. For awesome selfservice falafel, go to King Falafel around the corner. If you want service, go to Hummus & Falafel on the parallel street. Will try again if they have a new menu, maybe they can redeem the two lost stars then.

Great café to eat thoughout the day, either dining before going out for the night or having breakfast the morning after.
There's more than enough choice on the menu and the food is delicious! Portion sizes are also very generous. I tried the Japanese loaded fries, nacho's, buffalo wings, croquette balls, fries, sweet potato fries, gyoza's and a brownie (not in one sitting though...) and they were all great.
I wish I could order cocktails from the next door cocktail bar (Vavoom, same owner) however...

Ordering and paying at the bar. Waiter was friendly, although not so at some German tourists because of language issues.
Read moreAtmosphere is more like a bar, but the food was ok. Pita falafel was a bit meager, could need some more falafel. Chinese pancakes were fine. But gone in no time, compared to the price, maybe one extra pancake would be better.

Die Location ist sehr schön, es gibt viel Auswahl an veganen Speisen.

This place really doesnt have a vegetarian or vegan vibe. I’m sure most customers end up here randomly. This place is at least 80% vegan and the food is absolutely delicious. The burger has proper Kimchi and the crunchy cauliflower is spot on. Damn I wish I could eat here every day

This place is awesome, it has a great vibe both inside and outside and so much variety on the menu. Most items are vegan. I got the banana pancakes which were at the perfect levels of sweetness and fluffiness.

Waarom minimaal twee sterren? - Edit
Schiet mij maar lek, waarom mag ik niet 1 ster geven maar moet ik minimaal 2 geven? Er bleek geen vegan wijn te vinden in dit eetcafe. Ik heb ze eerst mail gestuurd voor ik review wilde plaatsen. Maar kreeg geen reactie helaas. Maar na een paar dagen super reactie dat ze meteen uitzoeken en aanpassen. Goede poging met all vegan eten , niks mis mee. En de bediening? Ik was alleen en toen ik naar de bar binnen ging om eten en drinken te bestellen , was ondertussen de tafel in bezit genomen door iemand anders. Dus ga bij mooi weer niet alleen ;-)
