Best food in Palolem - Edit
Amazing cafe, owned by a Western person so is awesome if you need a break from Indian food. Almost fully vegan, everything on the menu is amazing! Must try the cheesecakes, smoothies, tumeric latte, Mexican bowl and sushi bowl!!

very good but too expensive - Edit
Food is delicious, ambiance is cozy, service professional but friendly but I find it really too expensive Eben in case they use organic ingredients. Still worth a visit though, but I wouldn't repeat.

Sooooo good! - Edit
Zest is such a nice cafe, and super different to the traditional indian places we normally eat at here, which was nice for some variety. My favourites were the raw lasagna, it was incredible and so were the summer rolls and chunky monkey smoothie. There is a huge variety of raw and cooked food on the menu including a burger, salads and bowls. Some dishes contain dairy but vegan options are clearly marked. It’s a little pricey (around 350 IR for a main) but definitely worth it!!!!

Zest (Agonda Beach) - Edit
Wonderful! We actually went from Cola Beach to Agonda Beach every day and sat down and enjoyed this oasis. One of the trips meant more than an hour of walking early in the morning just to get there amazing breakfast. If you are here and want good, clean food and drinks, don't miss this!

Very good restaurant and food - Edit
Zest is a great addition to Palolem´s restaurants with high quality vegan and vegetarian food, nice interior and unusual dishes. I don´t think you can get this kind of food anywhere else in Palolem.
Read moreThe taste of dishes was great. I tried scrambled tofu, raw beetroot with pesto, a couple of juices, bibimbap and meze plate. I´m not that much a raw cake fan, so mango cake was not that lovely, but the crust was good.
Zest´s dishes are slightly more expensive than in other restaurants. That´s okay, but to compensate that I wish the portions were bigger. I don´t believe the ingredients are expensive, so it would be fine to pay if you could leave with a full belly.
As in many beach destinations, the best restaurants are not located on the beach, instead by the main road like Zest. That might have something to do with that the other restaurants compete with the quality of food, the others compete with the location.
In December this place might get busy, tables might be occupied and it might take a bit longer to wait for your food. If this is too much, there is a pure vegetarian Indian place after 20 meters on the other side of the road, or Brown Bread restaurant, that has many vegetarian dishes, is opposite to Zest.
Pros: Very good food, Nice-looking place
Cons: Too small portions for that price
