Great for brunch!

Their vegan shakshuka was really delicious and their staff was friendly and very helpful. Coffee was good too and also the “special” juice. All in all, a great place for brunch, and in a good location too. I didn’t find the place too loud (like previous reviews) at all.

Vegan shakshuka!

Very touristy place with lots of loud foreigners, had a quick lunch - vegan shakshuka was nice accompanied by non kombucha non-alcoholic cocktail.

Pros: Vegan shakshuka, Fast service

Cons: Loud, Crowded

Tapioca better than Brazil

Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I ordered the Tapioca and it was paired so well with avocado, hummus, sun-dried Tomatoes, sauces, greens! A flavour explosion!
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Good prices, just under the norm for Lisbon, I paid €10 for my Tapioca and €2-€3 for a drink
Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Lovley Staff, well known so there’s a busy atmosphere, in peak times you may need to wait to get a seat.

Pros: Many Vegan options , Great Staff, Healthy Large Portions

Cons: Not 100% vegan , Can be very Busy

Happiness ☺

I had the tastiest vegan bagel ever 😍
And a vegan bruschetta!
Everything was very good!
There's always a huge line to get in, but it's worth the wait ☺

Disappointment

I’ve heard some people rave about this place so I had really high expectation but for me it was quite a disappointment. The place is very loud, and while you’re eating you can see people queueing outside waiting to get in - not quite the chill and relaxed ambience that I expect from a brunch place. Very loud music playing in the background so it’s difficult to have a conversation and you have to shout when you order. The food was tasty but I won’t be coming back.

Pros: Tasty food, The açaí bowl was amazing!, Gluten free options

Cons: Loud music, Very busy

Loud, vegan friendly place

I had the vegan Shakshuka which was very good. The place is a bit pricy and very noisy (music is too loud so don’t go if you’re hungover). Overall good place if you want to brunch with non-vegan friends.

Pros: Food is good, Place is pretty

Cons: Very noisy, Crowded , Chairs kinda uncomfortable

Amazing selection

The food here was not only delicious but there were a lot of variety for vegan and vegetarian.
I had the Brazilian açai bowl, which I highly recommend and the vegan toast which was packed with so many delicious flavours. They had vegan vegan cheese too. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Pros: Delicious food, Good variety , Friendly staff

Cons: Slightly more on the expensive side

Worth the queue - great tastes

Lots of clearly labelled vegan options including pancakes and toasts. I had the vegan "toast" which was sweet potato as the base, and then tofu, veggies including asparagus and mushrooms and avocado. This was super tasty and filling - there's plenty of sweet potato (I had been a bit worried it would be quite light). I also split vegan pancakes which were peanut butter and jam and so good! They're gluten free also but you wouldn't know it, very moist and fluffy. Had an caramel iced latte too with oat milk (paying extra for oat milk). You'll likely have to queue for a while, but it's worth it!

Many brunch/lunch options

Fantastic food and many vegan options. Very popular restaurant, especially around 12. I had the vegan pancakes which were very filling and tasty, however very sweet. The vegan pancakes can be made with gluten, I specifically asked for non-gluten free.

Okay

Decent place, nothing special. There always seemed to be a line outside so we had to try when we saw it was quiet. Maybe the cocktails are really good?

And the driest vegan pancake award goes to!...

Worst vegan pancakes ever. It’s not that they weren’t great, they were actually terrible. Dry, overcooked and one of the 2 was even slightly burnt on one side (something I pointed out to the waitress, who simply said “thanks for the feedback” - at least offer to replace something that is clearly NOT good?!" I have the feeling they would have been cooked (already based on a poor recipe), then defrosted and warmed up / toasted to serve. I picked the toppings which did make for nice presentation on the plate (banana and some berries), but couldn’t eat the actual pancakes. The waitress asked if everything was good and I explained what I just mentioned. Then when I went to pay another member of staff asked if everything was good, and again I said that my pancakes were not good at all, they were super dry. To what he replied “yes, we’ve been told that many times before… it’s because they are gluten free”. First, you know your product is not great yet you keep selling it - that says A LOT about the way you do business. Secondly, just because you make something vegan you don’t necessarily need to make it GF. Yet you could make both and achieve a decent product, indeed. There’s no excuse in this day and age to sell such a poorly executed vegan GF dish. I can’t believe I paid actual money for this. And why do you ask your customers if it’s good if you’re going to keep doing the same thing even if they tell you how bad it was? As a person who works in hospitality, it blows my mind! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of just 1 is that my friend had eggs and said they were OK. But my vegan food was indeed very bad.

Pros: Several vegan options (sweet and savory)

Cons: You don't have to make vegan foods necessarily GF, Bad vegan pancakes

Best hotcakes and brunch!

Fui varias veces durante mi estadía en lisboa, muy rico açaí, matcha latte, hot cakes y platos veganos

Pros: Muy buenos sabores

Cons: Podrían añadir más opciones veganas! , Añadir scrumble de tofu en lugar de huevo!

Great options

We came because of the place in porto, the same exact dishes which are amazing. Every category has at least one vegan option! You can only sot inside, not like in porto. But the place is still very nice and its a great breakfast/brunch place! You should definitely go😄

Pros: Amazing options

Cons: Busy place

Tasty & plenty of vegan options

I had the shakshuka which was delicious and my partner had the vegan toast which was also super tasty. Saw a few other vegan options available and they had milk alternatives too for teas and coffees. We sat on a sharing table which was fun although at times because the place was so busy it was a little hard to hear each other. Great for business though!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Fast service , Really flavoursome food

Cons: Super busy so felt a little noisy at times

Delicious but spendy

Found @zenithlisboa on @happycow and had a delicious breakfast.

We had pancakes which were light and fluffy, served with peanut butter, jelly, fruit, and almonds.

We also ordered vegan #shakshouka which was delicious and fresh. In place of the traditional egg, this is served with tofu, mushrooms, and spinach. I am a bit disappointed because they charge a 1.50€ vegan tax over the traditional shakshouka.

Also there is a 0.50€ surcharge for plant milk in the coffee.

Delicious, plenty of options, but tends toward pricey.

Pros: Pancakes!!!, Delicious, fresh, creative

Cons: Pricey, Sur-charge for plant milks
