Nous venons d’arriver à Bologne et nous restons quelques jours. Nous souhaitons manger uniquement dans les restaurants véganes pour l’engagement que ça représente pour les restaurateurs. Nous avons été enchantés de ce petit restaurant qui nous a servi un plat très copieux et un vrai régal. Merci beaucoup à la personne qui a créé ce concept rapide est extraordinaire.

Noto so tasty Tagliatelle, as you can see on the pohotos. No special taste, small portion. I needed to wait for them aprox 25min. I jave to add lot of salt and olive oil for the taste!

The servicing at ZEM is great. The location is neat; the bistro is tucked away in a quiet street.
Read moreZEM has a lot of options to choose from, both in food and drinks. The tortelloni was a little disappointing in my experience; the filling was not very flavourful.
That being said, I would come back to ZEM to try another dish if I’m ever nearby again.

I had a salad and lasagna at dinner and the quality didn’t really measure up. The lasagna was quite dry and seemed like it had been made a long time ago. The salad was fine but surprised that the tomatoes weren’t red and ripe as I see everywhere else in the city. This is August and peak tomato season. Overall, service was great and I had high hopes for ZEM but left disappointed because of the food quality.

We ordered a burger, tagliatelle and vegan cheese sticks. Everything was tasty, but not very special. The burger lacked some crunch (cutlet was soft too) and tagliatelle could be seasoned better. Overall it was a good experience and the service was nice and kind :)

Small place with good food, I would defenitey would like to come back and try other dishes in the menu. They have the vegan version of tortellini con brodo, very tipi al from Bologna. I still wanted to try the tortellini fritti!

I had the oven-baked pasta of the day, a tigella, a side of seasonal veggies, and a cookie. The pasta was nice, nothing too wild but good nonetheless. I especially liked the tigella (kinda tasted like a mini-burger with vegan sausage inside), and I loved the pumpkin from the side dish (which also had cauliflower, bit bland, and some other green veg that I can’t remember).

Restaurant is very small inside and has outdoor seating as well. Food took 45 mins to come out and they brought everything out at once. She said it would take 30 mins. Flavors were good and had a lot of different local menu items.
