Somple but good

We had lunch here and enjoyed it. We had two soups for 35 baht each. The women who works there speaks little English but does here best to communicate.

Pros: Good price, Flavourful, Not crowded

Cons: A few too many green onions, Owner doesn’t speak English

Good and cheap

The staff doesn’t speak English (google translate is here to help) but is really kind. You can choose between rice noodle or grain and add the curry you want (Sour, bamboo shoots, pumpkin curry and chilli paste that day) and top it with cucumber, soybean sprouts and other greens. The vegetarian fried pork (made out of “Fried flavored agricultural protein“) is stunning. They offer some fruits as dessert. The whole meal costs only 30bht, definitely worth going !
The little shop also sells some goods as snacks, coconut milk...

tasty and cheap thai food

I had to do a 24h transit in Bangkok between 2 flights and booked a room at Bandai hostel: this nice small veggie place is right next door (and not where the marker is on the map as already stated). What a pleasant surprise! It's the usual cheap price for those kind of places (rice and 2 curries for 30 baht), what I got was tasty and a little spicy but not too hot (pumpkin curry, cabbage with mushrooms). Perfect when you're starving after a long journey.

Pros: Tasty, Cheap, Lovely lady

Cons: no english spoken (but it's not a biggie)

Pleasant surprise find

This place is right near poshtel and backpacker planet, if you're using the DMK airport you might be around here.
There's a market just across the laneway that goes to the main Street.
This type of place is often my favorite when traveling, cheap and delicious, though after the third meal in a row there i was ready for a change.
Mock meats, curries, rice and noodles. I went at 9am and 3pm, better selection in the morning.
