Self-serve frozen yogurt shop with usually two or so vegan flavor options, like coconut and a fruit. Add your choice of toppings and syrups, and pay by weight. Open Mon-Thu 11:00am-11:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-12:00am, Sun 11:00am-11:00pm.
In a town where options are limited, even one or two items can go a long way. The coconut vegan fro yo was tasty and they have some good vegan toppings like fruit, Mochi, and Oreos. Some of their topping syrups also seemed to be vegan based on a quick scan of ingredients, but I wasn’t looking to use them so I didn’t check as closely as I would have otherwise (worth a second look).
I was delighted to learn about the vegan flavors at this yogurt place. I always felt disconcerted by the colorful painting of happy cows on the store's exterior, but it's on the right direction to introduce vegan options. I hope vegans and non-vegans all fall in love with these vegan yogurt flavors and the store expands the vegan options in the future. As of now it has two vegan flavors: coconut milk and pomegranate/raspberry. I like the coconut milk better because it's silky soft and slightly sweet. The pomegranate/raspberry is very fruity and a little sour to my taste. I asked about the mochi (rice cake) topping and it was confirmed not to have any dairy in it. I loved the whole combination. It's also a bright place with lots of sunlight, good for a solo break or a chat with friends. Perfect for a hot summer day!
