Greek takeaway - Edit

3rd visit: Big portions- we ended up with two much but it meant lunch the next day we sorted. It’s cheaper if you order directly and collect it. We had the special chickpea fritters (falafel) plate, extra chips, spanakopita, gigantes & mini bunt cakes (special). All delicious

Update- 2nd time: liked the look of some of the specials to tried again and glad we did as we had some tasty food. We got meatballs in pitta with fries (Vegan pita Soutzoukakia) Description- Juicy Greek-style soy mince meatballs seasoned with garlic, cumin, and herbs, in a warm pita bread and smothered in a hearty, slow-simmered tomato sauce.
Served with red onion, tomato, skin-on-fries, fresh parsley, and coconut yoghurt. Special dessert- Vegan Galatopita- A plant-based twist on the traditional Greek milk pie, made with creamy almond milk and semolina for a smooth, custard-like filling. Baked until golden and lightly infused with vanilla and orange zest, then finished with a dusting of cinnamon and powdered sugar. Got standard menu items of gigantes (butterbeans) and spanakopita (spinach and leek pie). All great

1st time: We had a takeaway from here not long after it opened (deliver online for collection). The gyros & meatball were good although taste was a little plain. We got some courgette crisps which weren’t well battered and came with tzatziki which all of the dishes did so wasn’t really needed/not good value. They’ve expanded their menu since and have changing specials with plenty of vegan options including desserts so would like to try again
