Is the tofu soup vegan?

When I came to this place and used a translation app to explain what is vegan, no dashi and no egg, and asked what I could eat: they said rice with vegetables. (Not the tofu noodle soup). When I asked them to replace the seafood tempura with tofu, it wasn't possible. There was mayonaise on the dish and the vegetables were in a temperu batter, and I am not sure that was vegan either..

Very tasty udon

I have been craving udon for the entire month in Japan, and this spot seriously hit the nerve! The soup was simple but really tasty! Same goes for the topping. You can choose multiple dishes with different toppings, in either soba or udon style. I decided to go for fried tofu which seems to have been marinated, it was really good.

All in all I can recommend this place big time!

Pros: Soup base is supposedly always vegan friendly, Good prices, Extremely tasty!

Cons: Cheap single use chopsticks, Cash only and atm is kind of far

Gutes Udon!

Leckeres Udon mit Tofu. Die Atmosphäre ist nicht besonders, aber das Essen ist gut und günstig.

Cons: Keine Toilette

Yummy soup

Had a very tasty bowl of tofu soup. Steps away from the crazy touristy temple, but very quiet and well managed. Biggest glass of sake! Very reasonably priced. Only downside is there was no bathroom.

Pros: Customer service , Soup , Price

Cons: No bathroom
