Leckeres Frühstück - Edit

Wir hatten den simit mit rührtofu und den breakfast wrap, ebenfalls mit rührtofu, und beides hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt😄danach dann noch eine Waffel mit Lotus Creme.
Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder hin!

Wir sind extra hergekommen, weil es ein rein vegetarisches Café mit veganen Optionen sein soll. Das finde ich unterstützenswert. Leider
ist das Café aber nicht (mehr) vegetarisch. Auf der Karte entdeckten wir Lachs! Schade.

Generell können einige (nicht alle!) Speisen auf Wunsch vegan zubereitet werden. Wo das möglich ist, steht ein entsprechendes Symbol auf der Speisekarte daneben.

Veganen Kuchen gab es bei unserem Besuch nur einen (Lotus Cake).
Als Speisen hatten wir die "Bali Bae Bowl" und den "Breakfast Wrap".
Beides hat uns geschmeckt.

Es gibt Sitzplätze drin und draußen.
Service war freundlich aber nicht überragend.
Insgesamt ist es ein nettes Café, was uns leider aber nicht überzeugen konnte - insbesondere hinsichtlich der nicht mal mehr vegetarischen Optionen.

We came here specifically because it’s supposed to be an all-vegetarian café with vegan options. I think that’s worth supporting. Unfortunately, the café isn’t vegetarian (anymore). We spotted salmon on the menu! Too bad.

In general, some (not all!) dishes can be prepared vegan upon request. Where this is possible, there’s a symbol next to the item on the menu.

There was only one vegan cake available during our visit (Lotus Cake).
For our meal, we had the “Bali Bae Bowl” and the “Breakfast Wrap.”
We liked both of them.

There is seating inside and outside.
The service was friendly but not outstanding.
Overall, it’s a nice café, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite win us over—especially given that it offer Salmon now.

yam is a modern yet comfy café/restaurant with many vegan options. they have scrambled tofu, porridge, sandwiches, pancakes and breakfast platters. waffles are available (sweet and savoury) as well as bowls for lunch. many vegetarian dishes can be veganised on request. no surcharge for plant milk. IMPORTANT: they did add salmon and ham or something (mostly as a possible add-on, but still a pity) and are no longer fully vegetarian!
the bowl i had was good but not outstanding. i liked the tofu a lot but pqrts of the salad looked sad.
nevertheless, yam is still one of the best vegan-friendly spots in recklinghausen with a nice vibe, great staff and a dog-friendly attitude.

Pros: many vegan options, well labelled, no surcharge for plant milk, 🐶✅

Cons: no longer vegetarian:(

Fancy Cafe - Edit

Sehr modernes Cafe mit einer supergroßen Auswahl an pflanzlichen Getränken und Speisen (süß und herzhaft). Da fällt die Auswahl schwer😄Empfehlsenswert sind auf jeden Fall die Waffeln!

Dazu netter Service und alles toll präsentiert.
