mixed feelings - Edit
I have known this restaurant for years and have been there several times. I don't like the buffet at all. I prefer the dishes on the menu. The tables are often dirty and so are the toilets.

Wonderful servers, wonderful food - Edit
We’ve been coming here for close to 15 years. It surprises me every time how friendly and generous the servers are. One time we were actually given a can of lychees to go.😄Price is absolutely fine and the portions are giant. We shared dumplings as an app and each had fried duck as a main. There was enough leftover for two more meals. The only downside IMO is that nearly everything is fried. If you want something “healthier”, you have to scour the menu. It’s there, but not easy to find.

Buffet is a must - Edit
All you can eat buffet with lots of choices. Almost everything is vegan and labeled. During covid the buffet was only on Thursday’s at lunch time but also the menu at night is worth going.

Standard "european" Chinese Food - Edit
Serves the standard "european" chinese food you get everywhere else in austria, but without the meat. If you don't expect "real" chinese food, it's a very good option. Super tasty, but heavy on fat/glutamate. Many different mock meat dishes on the menu. The buffet gives you a good selection of different dishes. I've been there numerous times and every time the ordered dishes where yummy.

Prices are fair and the serving sizes are big. Staff is friendly.
Pros: Spezial-Hühnerfleisch, schmeckt verboten gut!, Very tasty, yummy, Price/Value

Favorite restaurant in vienna - Edit
We come here everytime we visit vienna! The vegan meat is amazing! Every dish tastes and looks different! Not like at other places where they add the same soy meat into every dish... Here every dish has a different kind of vegan meat depending on what it should taste like (duck, chicken, fish, shrimp...) the staff is super friendly and we always get free dessert (some fruits amd sweets) and a drink. Try the famous chicken, it‘s our favorite dish on the menu!

Love the food, less the unclear pricing - Edit
This place has a lot of Asian delicious options which are mostly vegan and really tasty. However, after the second time that I’ve been charged around 30% more than the prices stated on the menu, I must say that I’m not really happy with how little transparency there is around how pricing works here.
Read moreConsidering this and the fact that a dish (without rice) costs just under or over 9€, it means that the place is to be considered as a high-end, overpriced place, which comes as a surprise as it seems like a big-portion, generally affordable go-to place for non meat eaters.
I’ve been to much fancier places and paid less than here, which is pretty upsetting taking into account that I’m normally expecting to know exactly what I’m paying for. Also when paying time comes you are kinda ‘encouraged’ to round up for a tip so as a consequence also of that, this time around we ended up paying 40€ for two people. Really pricey!!! Handle with care, or take advantage of the lunch buffet deal rather than going for dinner. Such a pity :/

Payment issue - Edit
Food for the lunch buffet was very good I have to say. But... The advertised price is 11.90euro per person and the 2 of us were charged 30euro. They kept asking us for cash, we didn't have any, and their credit card machine wasn't working. We tried 2 different cards and the machine kept saying please wait. She kept asking us to look for cash as if we were hiding our cash. My credit card did actually go thru since I saw the transaction on my phone but the machine never said payment completed or what not. So my partner had to run out to find an ATM, except they were either out of order or closed since it was Sunday. It took us an hour to try to pay. Food was good but overall it was a really unpleasant experience. If you don't want to take credit card, don't put huge Visa and MasterCard stickers on the outside window.

Deliscious, cheap but fatty food - Edit
This is one of my favourite places in Vienna! When it comes to the price of the lunch buffet it's unbeatable. I came here at least twice a month in the last year! (Now not su much as I'm saving for travels and have another favorite) Everything tastes just so good! The lunch buffet is such a bargain (8,9€ on weekdays), you have to go! Oh and please try the peanut-balls, I just love them! (they're also at the lunch buffet).
Read moreAs I saw a few of the reviewers stating that not everything at the buffet is vegan, I want to clarify that all of the main dishes are vegan - as are the starters. There are one or two salad options that aren't vegan and not all of the desserts are vegan. The baked bananas are tho!
I love all the mock meat (and fish) dishes, you would think they're all similar, but actually a lot of them are quite different, both in texture and taste.
They use no MSG, which is great.
And yes, the food isn't healthy - it's quite fatty and a lot of it is deep fried. You have to be aware of that before going. So it's definitely not a place for every day, but to treat yourself from time to time.
Also they're really dog friendly. I went there with different foster dogs already and they're always just so accommodating.

Pros: Peanut balls, a bargain! (especially the buffet), really friendly stuff
Cons: wish they would deliver , quite fatty and unhealthy food, not 100% vegan

Horrible - Edit
Cheap starters got me hyped at first, but it went downhill fast.
Read moreEverything we ordered was deep fried and oozing with oil.
Given their speciality menu is predominantly fake meats, I expected their "forbiddingly good chicken" (#57) to be exactly that. What I got was a plate of tiny, 2x0.5cm sized knobs of indefinable fake meat in a sugary sauce that tasted like nothing. Certainly one of the worst fake meat dishes I've had and I've had a lot.
The crispy ribs, which the waitress advised against ordering (crispy duck is supposedly better), tasted like a very bland piece of Schnitzel with dominating breading.
Rice costs extra, which we didn't know when the waitress took our order and asked which type of rice we want. Rice was served as the first dish and cold by the time the main dishes arrived.
The free fruit dessert plate was very nice though!
Bottom line is, come here if you like spending money for food that doesn't taste well and want to ruin your health with a fried-oil diet.
Pros: Free fruit platter for dessert!, Cheap starters
Cons: Obligatory rice costs extra, Tastes bad, Unhealthy food, deep fried and sugary sauces
