Love the vegan options - Edit
I love taking folks from out of town to Xaco Taco before a night out. Tacos are filling and inexpensive. The mushroom tacos are delicious. I like the guacamole and salsa, although the chips are sometimes bland and lacking salt. The margaritas are incredible. The mushroom tacos are also on the happy hour menu, so you can get a decent meal for a low price. Love it here!

Oh don’t get me wrong there were vegan options, the food just wasn’t good. It’s not even Mexicali- idk what to consider it- imagine the whitest girl you know hosting a taco Tuesday. It’s exactly that. Guac was bland, tortilla chips were over fried and no salt or lime.. nothing. The vegans bowl I’m pretty sure had one sliver of jalapeño as flavor. Service I wish could say was better but I asked for hot sauce, he said ok, and just went to talk with friends and that was it until we asked for the bill.

Great vegan options! - Edit
Wonderful taco options that are clearly labeled vegan. I got a wild mushroom taco and spicy pickled vegetables. Great blend of flavors and a fun environment.

I got the cauliflower taco plate and it was super filling and delicious. The beans and rice (which are also vegan) were also so good! Loved the coconut lime marg too. Will be back for sure.

Vegan Cauliflower Tacos - Edit
I had the Coliflor Frita Tacos (tempura fried cauliflower, pickled cabbage, cashew crema, peanut salsa macha, vegan queso fresco) and Watermelon Lime Agua Fresca. Both were really great (though the guacamole appetizer was a small serving of just okay guac), especially the tacos!

Great vegan taco and spicy margarita - Edit
Loved the Coliflor Frita (tempura fried cauliflower, cashew crema, pickled cabbage, peanut salsa macha, vegan queso fresco). Rice and beans served on the side were a little bland but the taco was delicious. The spicy margarita tasted great and was strong.
