It was fine but wouldn't make an effort to come back - Edit
The Soyrizo Quesadilla was probably the best thing we ordered and even that wasn't outstanding. The ground beef used in the vegan burrito is very 'realistic' and I wasn't a fan even though I love most alternatives like beyond and impossible. It was also really cold, I couldn't manage to swallow a bite of it and my omni partner wasn't sure it was even vegan- but they enjoyed it so it didn't go to waste. The guac needs more flavour and the chips didn't even have salt.
Read moreMy omni partner liked the quesadilla but I wouldn't be in a rush to go back as a vegan, I think there are better options in the city.
Pros: Large menu, Breakfast and Dinner options, Chicken, Beef and other vegan meats
Cons: Guac and Chips - no flavour, guac tasted weird, Burrito was cold, Vegan Ground Beef wasn't good.

One of our favorites in Oakland! - Edit
They operate inside Ole Ole Burrito Express, but you can get delivery or pickup. Absolutely scrumptious!

Part of Omni Restaurant - Edit
Food is INCREDIBLE (classic quickie Mexican, fluffy rice, delicious fake meats), but as other reviewers noted it's a ghost kitchen within a meat/cheese-based Mexican spot. As such, it's more like an omni restaurant with a separate vegan menu... So only giving 4 stars rather than the 5 their food would deserve.

Cons: It's a ghost kitchen/menu, not a vegan spot

Misleading - Edit
The food is great, and I enjoy it a lot, but wanted to flag that it misleads itself as a fully vegan kitchen/restaurant. Wish Me Vegan is a ghost kitchen based out of Ole Ole Burrito Express where meat and dairy is served. If cross contamination is a major concern for you, it is still a risk here as meat is prepared on shared surfaces. The food really is great, especially if you're a junk food vegan looking for junk foody americanized mexican food, but just because of how unethical I find it to mislead yourself as a fully vegan restaurant, I feel the need to only rate two stars.

Da Bomb! - Edit
I got a street taco with Parsley Chik’n for Taco Tuesday and it was the best $2 I’ve ever spent.

Pros: Great selection , Great flavors , Great prices
Cons: Nothing fancy decor-wise, Side-by-side with a full meaty menu, Bit of a fly-by-night feel. Hope it lasts!

So much choice! - Edit
Tasty food and so much choice, the burritos are HUGE! They do breakfast burritos, classic burritos, bowls, salads and tacos. The tortilla wraps are so chewy and delicious.
