Second Wild Gecko shop @ ACC Airport - Best place for shopping - Edit
The Wild Gecko stores are the best place for souvenir shopping in Accra (in this case at the airport), as well as for finding many decorative items, as well as clothing, jewelry, artefacts, books (both for children and adults), toys, (vegan) cosmetics, spices, chocolate, candy, coffee and so on. I love the fact that everything is locally made and they have a proud "made in Ghana" sticker on each product. Most of the decorative objects are hand crafted from repurposed or recycled scrap metal, bicycle parts, screws, bolts and other materials. You can see that there was a lot of passion being put in the creation of each and one of these items. I can recommend this place from the bottom of my heart!
