My friend who is not vegan frequents this place and brought me here one Friday night. She did let me know in advance that they typically only have vegan flavors on the weekends and otherwise have the premade vegan options which I was fine with. The night we went, they had a vegan cookie custard and I got that with chopped nuts on top, but they have a few different toppings you can select. I thought it was really delicious and I will definitely go back. I do appreciate the effort in providing vegan options.

Pros: Delicious vegan custard , Nice atmosphere , Friendly staff

Cons: Would love vegan options available every night

We don’t know how vegan flavors taste because they didn’t have any when we went. So be sure to call first to make sure they have vegan items

Great vegan ice cream if it’s available - Edit

Whit’s likes to switch up their flavors on a daily basis which would be cool if they had one or two consistent vegan flavors. The vegan flavor they had was black raspberry: probably not bad, but it wasn’t what I was in the mood for.

I asked about their vegan options. They have a small selection of premade ice cream in the freezer and a couple of ice cream sandwiches, but they only offer one vegan soft-serve per day, and some days not even that.

I got a cookie sandwich. Both the cookie and ice cream were super flavorful, and if that’s all you need, it’s worth it! Otherwise, it’s hard to recommend this place to vegans.
