Great find by Torquay Harbour - Edit

Dessert cafe with a few outside tables serving two or three different vegan option of waffles, cookie dough, American pancakes and crepes.

All served with things like biscoff, Oreo, banana or berries and ice cream. Only vegan ice cream they had today was a biscoff flavour, but it was delicious.

Pros: Good vegan options , Great location, Friendly staff

Cons: Only one vegan ice cream flavour today

No longer at location or listed on the official Waffle Inn website. Appears to have closed.

There is one in nearby Paignton though which does indeed serve vegan waffles.

Also reported to Happy Cow directly.

Disappointing - out of vegan batter - Edit

I was excited to read on HappyCow about all the vegan options at Waffle Inn but I was disappointed with the service.
We ordered vegan waffles, they took payment, we sat down at the outside seating, later they came out and said "is it ok to use normal batter as we have run out of vegan batter?". Uh no! They did give us a refund but I was disappointed with how the situation was handled/communicated.

Cons: Vegan options unavailable, Poor service

Yes Dessert and lots of it!!! - Edit

So much choice, so exciting to get loads of vegan choices, there was far too much to finish it all. I could've shared it, but brought the leftovers home to finish later. It's far too good to waste....or share 😄 it is just a hole in the wall with some seats outside, looking at the boats, so a nice spot but wouldn't do on a cold wet day, they do deliver locally though. Good job I'm not local as I would eat here far too often.
